What poker cards you use? (1 Viewer)

As I received my Desjgn Black Jack indexes today, I did a quick comparaison of index sizes :

View attachment 927261

From left to right :
- Kem WSOP 2008 Bridge / Regular
- Desjgn Classic Diamond Bridge / Black Jack
- Fournier 2826 (a.k.a. Congress) Bridge / Jumbo
- Cartamundi Casino Belgium Poker / Jumbo
- Piatnik Bridge / Jumbo
Wow, I appreciate this comparison, just so I can see the darkness of that cartamundi red. I think I was planning on trying those casino belgiums? I think those are the ones people are saying have a similar stock to the Tobago/Neders? I don’t know, I can’t keep track of the different cartamundis. But with a red that dark, they are not for me.

These Cartamundi Casino Belgium are not 100% the same as the Tobago/Neder (which are Cartamundi "Casino Branded").
The Tobago/Neder are more flexible although these ones (the Cartamundi Casino Belgium) are already very flexible.

Note : they are both acetate.

Currently the desjgns haven’t been sliding on the felt as well as the Copags and Faded Spades. I prefer dealing with the Copags and Desjgns but I do like the shuffle/wiffle consistency of the hefty faded spade

I tried KEM nearly 20 years ago and they were terrible: Wavy, brittle, hard to shuffle. Maybe a bad batch? Used Bee for over a decade before trying Copag. Love them! Will peruse the reqs here for a larger index set.

Where do I get some Modiano and / or Angel? Preferably 4 Color Decks.

Use Desjgn now, very nice, no complaints; but let's chase down the grail lol.

Love Faded Spade but too slippery for our group.

Modiano has poor business practices and I would not purchase a deck of these.

If you find Angel's for sell, I'll go in on it with you.
