I wanted to have a memory of all the poker rooms I played at... still take a $1 from every room!

Paulson Pharaoh chips got me hooked. Someone was selling them on my local craigslist for a steal of a deal. Small jump going from dice chips to those. Now I can't even let them go.

I have a regular cash poker game and I was looking for something nice to upgrade from the cheap dice chips we were using... years ago now.

Once I started the investigation I evolved to buying some sample sets. Eventually, I found a 1000 piece set of archetypes (sidepot) with a clear carrying case for a bargain of $400 on eBay( long ago).

I toyed with the idea of collecting multiple sets but funds were low then. I have more funds now and have rekindled a collecting passion. Just getting back into the fold. I’m relatively new to the forum myself.

Played for years with dice chips. Wanted something denominations on them and stumbled on this site. I bought a set of HS Cinci chips from TCE, played for them for about a year. Just picked up some Aurora Stars as an upgrade.

I use to play a lot. Both house games and casinos.

In house games, we only had those ABS chips.

These days, I hardly play anymore. But strangely, only now I have the urge to own nice chips sets!
