In my experience, these are the china clays that feel most like real clay chips. Nice feel and sound, sharp edges, and they stack nicely—they’re not slippery. That’s the good.
The bad is color inconsistency, stray splotches of color, and most importantly, they are brittle, some colors more than others. They will leave little crumbs on the table, edgespots can pop out, and they can be snapped fairly easily with your fingers, especially some of the solids.
However, at 10¢-13¢ a chip, they’re a pretty nice value, and a huge upgrade over dice chips. Add 20-30¢ per chip for labels, if you want to customize them, unless you can print your own stickers on the cheap.
YMMV.
