Welcome aboard! Looking forward to seeing more posts from you. What sorts of chips are you collecting now?

The one you've posted above is some sort of injection-molded plastic. I don't recognize the spot pattern; it strikes me as the sort more commonly found on casino plastic chips than on home game plastic chips, but without identifying the pattern definitively I couldn't say that for sure. I didn't see that pattern in the Bud Jones or Matsui references. Maybe someone else will recognize it.

Can you post a picture of the chip's rolling edge?

How much does it weigh?

Do you have any examples that still have a decal in the center?

Where did you come across it?

Also, while it's hard to be sure from just a picture, on the RT Plastics Ambassador Casino chip it looks like the red spaces between the pink pips are part of the base mold, making it a two-color mold, whereas in the OPs picture our mystery chip looks like it has a separate color for the spaces between the pips (the blue between the pips looks lighter than the blue of the base chip), making it a three-color mold.

It looks like the spaces between the spots are done separately, so maybe it was just a poor match to the base color?
Here an example of the $100 where the spaces are different altogether:

Okay, yeah, that example clears up that point, I was wrong. The Ambassador Casino mold and the OP's mold are both three-color molds.

Your point about the different recess sizes still stands, though. The OP's chip might be an RT Plastics, buuuuut maaaaaaybe it's not.

Yeah, they're probably RT Plastics. Either that or some random small company, likely based out of China.

I found this chip in a friends collectors chips bag. He doesnt remember where it was from.

I love the design, would like to buy a set similar to this design.

The ambassador set looks very close to it, but I cant find a vendor that have them in stock .

Thanks guys!
