Southpaw?Pelican-style case set up to hold 800 chips. The far left side can accommodate IHC racks by removed an extra piece of foam if needed.

EDIT: I use the above case strictly to transport my chips when bringing them to other games. At home my chips live on my living room bookshelf in casino-style chip racks (Paulson, Chipco, etc).

I've been thinking of getting that, but there are so many bad reviews. Some how I still want one hahaha if the price is right. My favorite is a large 1000 chip metal rolling case that has extra space for cards, buttons, and another rack of chips. Not sure its even made anymore but it has a slide-out handle and rollers on the bottom like a rolling luggage case which makes it great for transport.
Other than that I use the clear acrylic 1000 chip carriers for storing chips on the shelf or around the house.
Mine is not the flat one you see on Amazon. Mine is a double deck one with 500 per layer and foam all around so it looks more like a large metal brick with the rollers on the bottom and expanding handle on top. You use plastic racks with 5 per layer. The nice thing it it will stand up straight on its end.I've been thinking of getting that, but there are so many bad reviews. I think I know what your talking about. You talking about the bulky rolling case that looks like a stand? Can you post a pic?Mine is not the flat one you see on Amazon. I've not been able to find a pict of it online, so they may not be made anymore.
Unfortunately I can't at the moment - I'm out of town on some business for a bit. I will try to post one when I get back.I think I know what your talking about. You talking about the bulky rolling case that looks like a stand? Can you post a pic?
Looks like a strong version of the 1k chip case, given it's still around this must be a good design. Can I ask what is the black square/rectangle on inside of the top lid? Cards?View attachment 935885View attachment 935886

I know OP specifically asked for non-wooden case options but I'm curious about what's available as far as 600 chip wooden cases go. They seem exceptionally hard to find. Anyone have a recommendation in this space?
Awesome thanks, I'll look into these options! I have seen a lot of 500 chip 2-tiered chip boxes and some 750 chip boxes, like these: https://pokerchiplounge.com/poker-chip-cases/non-custom/wood.html?product_list_limit=60There are lots of 2-tiered decor chip boxes that hold about 650 and have dedicated space for cards and such.
I think there are lots of larger cigar humidors that can comfortably hold 6-8 racks of chips.
I guess it depends on what you mean by wooden case. This is an old Paulson case that holds 600. It's got leather/vinyl/whatever on the outside, but on the inside it's a wooden insert that holds the chips.Awesome thanks, I'll look into these options! But 600 seems exceptionally hard to find. If you have any specific boxes/humidors in mind that hold around 600 chips I'd appreciate a link or name. If not no worries.
Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion. Paulson cases are a tempting option, but I was hoping to be able to use a friend's laser engraver to etch the Sundance logo into the surface of the case. I don't think that can be done with leather but maybe there are some good alternative options like embossing.I guess it depends on what you mean by wooden case. Do you mean to say that Versa 500 holds 43mm chips? I assume that’s what you’re saying, I just don’t see any pictured, to confirm. Not sure if I had posted them here but the following are the 2 choices that I used for cases

Yup, they hold 43mm chip. I quoted “Versa” because they are Versa-like Case that i bought from China that designed to hold 43mm and not the US version of VersaDo you mean to say that Versa 500 holds 43mm chips? I assume that’s what you’re saying, I just don’t see any pictured, to confirm.
