Looks pretty nice, would be great for the 10/20 O8 game I'm considering hosting. He's asking $750 obo.

10 person poker table with lighted rails, has an Oak dining room table top, and one foot section of lighted rail needs to be replaced. Asking $750.00 or best offer.

Says OBO and it's been listed for 16 days. Plus, that lighted rail section will likely require a complete re-do if the lighting (just a guess), but with nice LED setups going for $45 shipped on eBay, that's not the end of the world.

Offer $700 :)

I think it's a great price, as the table materials alone probably cost that much (without the topper).

I'd want to get a closer look at that dining top. It looks a bit beat up.

Do you know how big the table is? Says 10 man but looks like a 9' dealer table, 10 players plus dealer. Unless he used bottom end materials or found refurbished peds, he's easily got a grand into that table just in materials, not including the topper. I'd offer $650-$700, spend another $150 to fix the lights and replace the cloth and walk away with a $3k table at ~1/4 of the price. Nice find!

I'd tell him you expect to spend $150 and and a couple hours replaing the lights - you usually need to replace the whole run - and offer "$500 and I'll pick it up myself" to start.

Since it's been up a couple of weeks (maybe more, if not his first posting), my gut says he'll come down to $600 or $650, so you want to start with an offer below that so you can come up to it.

Looks like there are 10 cupholders plus dealer position, so pretty big. I'd need to rent a cargo van to pick it up. I emailed him to get some closer pics of the felt to make sure there aren't rips or stains.

I'll try the $500 offer and see what I can get it down to, thanks guys!

Do you need the oak table top? Do you expect to use this as a dining table? For me thats crap I wouldn't want, plus the dealer tray is not something I like for self dealing games.

I would offer $400 given the length its been on CL.

Nope, don't need the oak dining top. But we will have a dedicated dealer for this game

Oak top will still come in useful if you want to use this as a utility table between poker games. You won't want to mess up the playing surface, especially after you replace it with a custom print job from Chanman...

I'll be keeping this in a room that is closed off and only used for poker. So no other traffic in the room, no cats mucking it up, etc.

I'm not sure I'd offer on this at all without a personal inspection or a lot more close up photos. The devil is in the details and you can't really see the details in those photos. Material- is that velveteen? or what? stains, fades, tears etc?
How much use has it seen?
What's it made of and how is it constructed?
Rails are seamless so that's a good sign. But any tears or wears?

The topper is a nice touch, and would add to the value if that is of value to you, but it sounds like it isn't.
Bottom line, if you ignore the topper, this might be a $200 table or a $500 table, depending. Doesn't strike me as a $750 table from just these pix. A $400 offer sight unseen might be reasonable.. ymmv.

Here's some additional pics from the seller, they said

We are not sure what materials were used in the construction, the table is originally from Silks Poker Room. As for the felt, we are not sure, again it's a casino/professional poker table. It weighs approximately 300-400lbs

Great table... Sounds like it serves your purpose well. If you have no desire to build one yourself it looks like a decent deal. Does it come with the drop box?

No drop boxes are included

Drop boxes are $35 and free shipping on eBay. Just got one yesterday.

Table looks sweet but I'd confirm no rips in rail. Go for $500 but if I had to pay $600 I'd not be too upset.

With the oak topper, $600 is a steal -- even if the felt needs replacing, the lights need work, and the oak needs refinishing. Only concern I'd have would be the condition of the rail -- nearly impossible to repair (nicely), and a real PITA to replace. I'd go as high as $650-$700 if in really good shape (but start lower). Don't kill the deal with insulting offers.

I agree w/ BG and Courage.....been almost 3 weeks, I'd think he'd start getting a little itchy to sell....I would think $600 would take it and that looks like it would be a good deal for you....but a $450-$500 initial offer wouldn't be insulting and worth a try. It looks like a pretty nice table from the pictures. Good luck!

yeah like $400-500 max. Looks like velveteen, with the $16 chip tray, crappy restaurant legs.
Professional casino table? ppffft

Ask him how he got it and if he plays poker or been around it a lot. If he hasn't, he will over value the crap out of it. And there isnt anything you can do but wait for it to be on the market for ever then off what he would consider a lowball.
