Honestly I was just here for information on causes of warping and if that condition is acceptable to sell as new...the rest is how the chips fall
Rather than a new vs mint debate, I’d say that the proper thing to be mentioned by the seller is “disclosure”Chips could certainly be uncirculated yet damaged. Not getting drawn into a 'new' and/or 'mint' debate.
Which there was no mention of the warpingRather than a new vs mint debate, I’d say that the proper thing to be mentioned by the seller is “disclosure”
Thanks for the responseThe gaps in the chips indicate warping, if you hold a barrel tightly between 2 fingers up to a bright light you will see light pass between the warped chips. Also if you place them on a hard surface and tap the edge of the top of the barrel and they wobble considerably they are likely warpedView attachment 352585View attachment 352588View attachment 352589

I've never seen a warped chip. Can you show some pics please?
Definitely a major part of my life now being a hot stamp frac collector!! Had to bake about 80 this evening alone... first round a few like seen in the picture take a few rounds to get them back to close!! Cool concept though I agree sir!!Also a great inlay theme.
