What bristled toothbrush to clean max grime? (1 Viewer)

REACH Firm. Long and wide bristle area and the bristles last a long time. You can also cut them down in half and they are easier to use..but obv cuts down life.
Dawn Ultra with warm water (but not super hot as that will fade them alot) works very well.

I've also used a nail brush - it covers a bit more real estate/swipe :)

This, times eleventy-billion...

I'd even specifically recommend one with handles like this. Helps you hold the brush while maintaining your grip strength (you loop your fingers in the handle, and your hands will thank you later). Gripping onto a small brush, while making small repetitive movements for an extended time, will kill your hands.

I always thought I would use one of those if I made a holder of some sort for the chip. Perhaps burring some holes in a cutting board the diameter of the chips. Then you could just set them and go over then with the brush. Since I can only brush less than half the chip anyway because I have to hold it with my other hand, I hold the toothbrush in my hand with my thumb behind the head and brush away and at the chip...getting into to those little hat and cane crevices. I find this puts less stress on my hand and I can go much longer without feeling wore down. I wear magnified reading glasses to also monitor my progress.

There is no doubt an ultrasonic cleaner is much easier...but I actually enjoy this process. It's kind of therapeutic.

I am however going to order one of those nail brushes though and try it out. Thanks for the idea Trihonda!
