Whaley Casino Retro 80’s Cali/Beach CPC Cash Set (1 Viewer)

As I continue to work with J5 to get some early drafts to find a more clear direction, I would love to utilize anyone that cares to contribute, and is often bored, finding themselves on CPC chip designer for no good reason.

I want to find not only just "cali colors" but full blown "I am at the beach in the middle of the summer colors". I think the Level 4 or lower is out the window, but I would love to have a {5c, 25c, $1, and $5} base color and edge spot worked on for now. The $20 and $100 would be an afterthought, and something I may utilize for an add-on further down the road. I'd love to use DG peacock for the $1, but it may be quite the challenge to make it super coherently "beachy".

If you're bored and would like to help, it would be greatly appreciated! This may be sac-religious, but I am not a purist to the cali-color scheme, and while I would like to stay close to those parameters, cohesion is WAY more important.

Here are some beach pictures to hopefully inspire! (*And a $5 Mock up that I think feels quite beachy*)

I should be focusing on work, but this is more fun! I think I have a better sense of a beach theme starting to emerge (which will likely all change as J5 updates artwork). But as always, any feedback is appreciated! {5c, 25c, $1, $5, $20, $100}

I'd say there's a little too much yellow in there for my liking. Maybe get a green chip in there to represent seaweed, and a dark grey to represent rocks instead of the black?

I appreciate the honesty, I'd rather have to defend the line-up, before I get past the point of no return.

I also never even saw this post until today, which is a bit of a bummer, but I still feel like my theme is a bit different. I had a DG green $20 in my original line-up, but I also like the idea of black sand beaches, also coinciding with the cali dark $20. This was the green I had, but one version still had some yellow in it!

For sure, the current lineup you have is beautiful, and I love the theme — that inlay is superb. Can't wait to see this set progress.

I can't stop myself! I'm just glad I have a spouse that reins me in, otherwise I'd have $24 to my name, and I'd likely buy a CPC sample set with that money.

Here's my mock-up from changing up J5's original art on the procreate Ipad app.
