All is well here. Not too much reason to log in frequently, jumped back in because I need to grab overseas address for package but see quite a bit has gone on.

I let Roc communicate updates until we get closer, but for most recently for this meetup:

I've committed to providing food the days we're playing at my place. For those 2 days it's shaping up to be BBQ catered (need local fellas to tell me how they feel about a joint down the street) and FOOD TRUCK (whooooooooo). For the longest day, we're scheduling food truck so everyone can walk out the front door and grab lunch, dinner, or late night snack. Already talked to the owner and that's booked in December. It's a tasty taco truck that covers the fundamentals - nachos, tacos, burittos, and accoutrement.

Wife has reached out to local spot about how far out in advance we can reserve boats or pontoons. Looks like December is a good time to lock those in so we'll have to gauge interest here and nab those.

Have some new felt orders going in, so we'll definitely have as many tables as needed.

Post Thanksgiving break, we're looking to update furniture which will make it comfy for the 6 folks we have staying. If somehow more space or room is magically added, I'll post an open bed.

Even getting to host games here occasionally, so that's been incredibly fun.

Just a side note as people look at attending/booking and the dates/places/times.

In a sparsely populated area (for CA lol), didn't think Air BnB type stuff would be as useful. Using Vrbo and such, I've found some potential locations.

Just at a glance, seem to be quite a few homes that have 4+ BRs and couches that could comfortably sleep anywhere from 4 to 10 people at around $300 per person for the whole week/end.

If you're looking for hotels, I'm 94505 and best bet is look in Brentwood. You'll be 10 mins from the house, not too far from Kyles.

Lastly the locals can attest I'm happy to drive and chauffeur folks nonstop. The Barrie bus seats 6 comfortably. There will be a car here for anyone that wants to utilize it.

I always think it's crazy helpful to post where you're flying in and when. I'm happy to pick up a couple trips at SFO (and I'm sure other locals can pop over once), but always nice to be able to grab 2 PCFers (or more!) instead of 1.

I'm not a big photo guy. I didn't play much poker before this, so things like big hands and royal flushes and all that are always fun to see or watch, but with others always taking photos of hands and stacks and racks, I've always said eh.

Figured it might be a good idea to actually nab some from our home games, so I remembered to take a photo or two from our past weekend ABC (At Barrie's Casa).

Twas the night before poker, and we're all set to go.

We buy in for some chippies and play reindeer circus games.

Phil can have all the Quads he wants, I'll just take my straight flush.

Much food is consumed. Not pictured here is the other 8 lbs of meat and the 3 Extra Large pizzas that Chris felt it was necessary to order for 7 humans.

Because the wife came home to cook, that means that little ears were in the house for an hour and a half. There is now a swear jar in the house. In that hour and a half, we had about 21ish swear words. F bombs were $2, other words $1, if you spelled it .50, and some other cockamammy rules. It added a bit of comedy for that hour+ and now we have a bad beat bonus that we'll use when the jar reaches a certain $.

Many laughs had, many drinks drunk, many pots lost and won. But what's most important is that I cashed out with more than I started, and 7 adults consumed 31 total Bubly waters and Squirts.

I've been logged in recently to catch up on some stuff but also in preparation for the meetup. Working on things has caused me to revisit the previous thread to start finding and pulling out Continental things.

I had completely forgotten about steamrolling the tourney and picking off half the entrants. I will never again in my life be that lucky playing hold 'em, I'm just glad there's proof

Very fair, lol I remember messaging Bill on the way to my first meetup really worried having never played with anyone here before.

• Group BnB, looking at $300 for the trip, less if people are comfortable on couches and such.
• Your travel costs here.
• Food costs - a couple breakfasts, and grabbing food together here and there (in n out, run down the street to the steakhouse, lakeside lunch from the pontoon). I'll be covering the main cash day food (taco truck and late night pizza) and house fridge will be stocked with burgers, brats, hotdogs, etc. for anyone to grab and grill out as needed.
• Bankroll: everyone is different, and players will drive what's played. From what I've attended and what I've seen from afar, there's always a friendly .25/.25 table up to the "big boy table". I can guarantee there will be straight holdem up to straight circus. Circus tourney buy in is $80 and main event will be $100 and change.

Asking for folks to start thinking about attendance as if we have folks out here early, costs for city trip or pontoons and all that will be covered. Just want to plan ahead. Really the only "extra" costs for attendees is food & drink they want to pick up, if anyone's heading out to golf, and bail money.

1-2 $.25/.50 PL dealers choice tables,
1 $4/8 - 6/12 limit circus table,
1 $1/1 - 1/2 NL/PLO big table.

This is usually attendee run and organized, I'm hoping we get at least two full bnbs booked with folks coming in. Being that it's CA, I definitely don't have a huge place, but I'm trying to accommodate as I can.

I know that @buffalojim was spearheading grabbing the first BnB, but as he's flying in early Wednesday for the whole event, I think we squeezed out an air mattress on the roof or somewhere for him.
