Hi folks...

Madame Empress still needs a few more chips to complete the first stage and I'm hoping you can help fill them. Here's what I'm looking for...

$1's - Any condition, primary or secondary, any quantity
65x $2.50 secondary chips (blue spots), any condition
30x $1000 secondary chips (pink spots), slightly used condition or better

I would also entertain purchasing "complete" sets if they contained at least 50 $1 chips or 10 $1k chips.

If anyone can help me in my search, let me know, please!

You just missed a rack in the classifieds earlier this morning from djmarc -- might try contacting him to see if he has any more.

Saw that, but passed. His were in mint condition. I already acquired one rack of those in mint...don't want to pay the premium for mints on those if I don't have to. Casino-used are greatly preferred for that particular denom/version.

If I see a rack of mint 1's, though...

There are many more mint $5 secondaries than used, iirc. Just the opposite on $1 chips, very few in really good shape (primary or secondary). The $1s were never sorted by TCR for condition, either -- my racks had about 20% excellent-to-mint condition chips.

Seems like I remember seeing some secondary $25s lately, too -- either here, CT, or eBay....

Pretty sure you're correct on both accounts. What I'm really hoping for is a set that includes at least a rack of 1's, a rack or two of secondary 5's, and a rack or two of 25's. Haven't seen sets come up for a while, though. Meh...we'll see what happens. I knew from the get-go that this was a long project. I've got time.

After finishing phase 1, that's when the things will start to get expensive. Acquiring 200 more of each 1, 100, and 500 won't be cheap.

Bump. OP edited to reflect current denoms and quantities I'm searching for. I'm pretty close to finishing phase 1 of my primary $1's...just need 22 more of those.

Surely someone can help me out with those primary $1's!
