Hi folks

I'm offering a 5 USD bounty to whoever can identify a particular font for me. I've been looking for it for quite some time, with no success.

Here are some samples:

* denomination and possibly "MISSOURI" on Casino Aztar MO
* denomination and logo text on WSOP Horseshoe Las Vegas NV
* a few other places/chips I can't remember right now

As you may be aware, I can be extremely picky when it comes to font matching. Please don't waste your time or mine with suggestions of fonts that are similar but not identical.

Also please note, it is NOT any of the following:
* Playbill
* Old Towne No. 536 (or similar names)
* Rio Oro
* Helldorado
* Western
* Bandoliers

My wife is a graphic designer and font obsessed. I’ll put her in the job!

My wife’s conclusion is that it's custom. Of course, a little bit of time in illustrator and it could redrawn into a useable font. :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

I've done it lots of times before. The better way, because you already have a raster of the items you need is to place the raster on the artboard. Cut and paste a copy using paste in place. Lock the lower level and vectorize the top one. Use the " -∆" tool and simplify the new vector. Then stretch and pull the new vector over the raster until it looks reasonable. Then its just a matter of cleaning it up and making sure everything is square. It'll take a few hours though..

Sounds like a piece of cake! :ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

I used to think it was probably custom, based just on the Aztar MO chips. But if the same typeface was used on the WSOP Horseshoe chips as well, I'm not so sure.

Other unusual identifying features: The serifs at the bottom of the W and the double line dollar sign. So if you can match W, R, and $ perfectly you probably have the right font.

Yes, I know how to vectorize stuff, thanks. I was throwing this out there in case someone already knew for certain...
(A) whether this is a custom typeface or a soft font, and
(B) if it is a soft font, what it's called.

Thanks all!

Aw c'mon, you can't leave it like this :coffee:

What is it, where'd you find it, do WE owe you the 5 USD??
