Been on the wait list for a while. I must of signed up in 2019 but was never active. Since the lockdown I've been more involved in home games with my PLO buddies. And have become more interested in real chips.

Now the casinos in So Cal are partially opened but the lists can be over 50 names. And I just can't understand why PLO has not grown in the Los Angeles area.

Someday I'll find a seat. Here or there..................

Commerce pre covid ran PLO 24/7 usually two tables. Not sure about it now. Other best bet try San Diego’s 7 Mile casino. Noon every Saturday 5/5 no cap PLO. Dream game. Fun players.

Not a big fan of Commerce, feels like costco of poker, even though I played there for 10 years. Pre Covid we played at Hollywood park but only a few days a week it ran

Never been to 7 mile, may take a drive with some friends. We did take a trip to Oceans and started a PLO game and once it started the game filled up.

Nothing better than a little Cookie Dough and PLO

Oceans is known to me for low stakes hold em from the base. 7 mile is about 45 min south. It’s called 7 mile because it’s 7 miles from Mexico. I found myself there one night late with some of the locals in the game. Insane fun group. Ps rent a little condo on mission beach for
The same price as a hotel. During the winter I have one that may be available. DM and l will put you in contact with my property/AirBNB manager. Enjoy!

Having played in both Commerce and the Bicycle, I can agree with this. I give the slight edge to The Commerce chips though. What I absolutely DESPISE of both of them is that they mix both Bud Jones and Paulsons together. Not sure if it's a West Coast thing, but it's so infuriating :banghead:

Commerce has a game 24/7. Even on Xmas. There is a lot to be said about that. Old faithful is sometimes better then nothing.

For you guys who haven’t been to Los Angeles in a while, Hollywood Park is a whole different world lately. Hollywood Park is beautiful now. Complete remodel, it’s classy now. The entire Inglewood is different. Rams stadium is right there...

I’ll stick my neck out and say I enjoyed hollywood park more than both the bike and commerce for cash games. (granted I don’t play very big) if I played bigger it would be at commerce of the bike.

for tournaments, the bike and commerce are both pretty top notch, it’s like every month one of them is having a pretty big series.

I cut my teeth at all three of the casinos, we are lucky in SoCal. Hollywood park is my home casino though, BLU on the chalkboard, That’s me.
