Dear all,

I am making a custom poker table and really liked @heiterbiswolkig WTHC theme (See HERE). I know common wisdom is to not design a table around a chipset. But for now the table is cheap and I really like my WTHCs. Like... really really like them. @heiterbiswolkig has very kindly shared his design files for my adaptation and I would like the community's opinion on which one you like best. Please vote!

If you have some design tips on how to make it better, I am all ears (change colours, add bet lines or don't or what not)! Would also love if any designers could reach out and help double check my work on the illustrator files to make sure it would print correctly and whether or not the bet lines are the right size for the table. OR help spruce up the designs even more. Willing to pay a small fee of course.

Thanks all. Love you

Regards,
Ryan

Pretty pleased with how it turned out for 217usd. Probably works out to 279 usd shipped!

Update more when I actually receive it

For the whole table or just the felt?

Looks great, mind leaving a link so I can contact the guy, for that price it’s a no brainer that I get the same.

Got them to change the legs from the Sturdier ones to the thinner ones so I can actually have players sit on the ends...

Will be looking to swap them out for gorilla legs once I figure out how to get them shipped internationally at a decent price..

These are on the way to me now and I absolutely can't wait!!!!

I have received the table and used it last night. It was great, the table and shuffler all came an hour or two before my game started. If anyone wants me to review the shuffletech ST-1000, let me know and I will be happy to do so.

Big shoutout to @heiterbiswolkig again for letting me borrow and adapt the design.

On to the poker table review @OfficerLovejoy @JK_Poker :

Size
180cm * 100cm
Perfect for my 8 player game (see below photos), 9 might be a bit squeezy but would probably still fit as none of my friends are XXXL

Price: 1000000/10
I mean, it cost me 217 usd. I was supposed to pay 100 usd for shipping but they didn't end up charging me which is strange. So this is where it scores top top points

Shipping / Packaging: 5/10
It wasn't very well packed and was shipped in cardboard box instead of a carton, wouldn't trust it that much for long distance shipping but it came by truck to HK so made it here in one piece. Very thankful!

Construction: 9/10
I am no expert and this is my first poker table, but I would say it is very solid. It was heavy and a bitch to lift it into the house.

I was originally planning on switching the legs out for gorilla legs. but was surprised how sturdy it is and will probably not do so anymore.
Doesn't seem to be worth the price and effort trying to get the gorilla legs shipped here internationally considering how satisfied I am with the current set up. I also actually think the legs look much better in person than in the photos and probably allow more leg space given the house and table size.

The armrest is removable on this table and it is possible to change out the felt yourself by unscrewing the bottom. Will report back when the time comes to change it!

See pictures on the construction to judge for yourselves as well, as I must emphasize again this is my first table.

Quality: 8/10
I am very satisfied given the price I paid. The armrest vinyl is definitely not top grade. I would have preferred if it was a seamless construction vs being stitched together at multiple points but can't really complain. Resting your arm on it for long periods of time will leave a bit of imprint but it goes away after a bit.

The felt printing quality is great. Refer to up close photos I posted below. The felt used is indistinguishable from the casino poker tables I have played in (to me) although I wouldn't be surprised if it was a cheaper version of some sort. I can't tell. However the cushion seemed to be maybe a 1/3rd thinner than the casino (from feel). Good enough for me and I somewhat prefer this .

Other thoughts
Casino felt is a little harder to deal than speed cloth for inexperienced dealers. I intend to cut up my slow play mat to the inner shape and use it for days when the game gets too rowdy and people are likely to spill drinks all over since it is waterproof.

Overall 10/10 for me because it was cheap and perfect for my little home.

Ryan
