that said, why do these kinds of listings seemingly never include pictures of the actual chips, just the case/box??

In my defense, that TRK box came that way.

I've emailed all the folks that contacted the "seller" on craigslist...each PCFer that sent an email to the "seller" can have a sample set, on the house. Can't guarantee it'll be first quality, given how few good hotstamp spares I'll have, but I figure I owe you at least that.

And I must admit, I was quite surprised at how polite everyone was!

Surprisingly, not as many as I suspected, but then again, these weren't cocaine giraffes. Which I think speaks well to the fact that folks knew that others were already contacting the seller and didn't want to screw up any deal.
