Vintage Kem ''Elite B" (1 Viewer)

What am i looking at here? Any good? worth opening up and using?

I tried googling but not a lot comes up in search results for 'Elite B' And i mean NOT a lot.

Did I just throw $25 away? It was a 2.30am impulse buy. And considering i have about 36 decks of cards headed my way, i definitely didn't need more cards. But i keep hearing about older Kems and thought these might be worth a go.

So while i didn't find out anything more on what "Elite B' is, i did find a bunch of listings for cards with the same design.
More than likely these from the 70's and sadly more than likely no Jumbo index.

I had a few of these before. IIRC, these were once used as Kem's casino line of cards and I believe they are standard index. Nothing special as far as pre-USPC Kems are concerned, but they are pre-USPC. I sold mine as I have Kems with more interesting designs but they are still good cards that are worth keeping if you dont own any other pre-USPCs.

Found a few set used set ups online too even though they don't mention 'elite B' I'm pretty sure they are all the same. Same back design same box etc.

Also, the only bridge jumbo Kems I could remember seeing were a set up of red/blue arrow design. The arrows are of a more recent(80’s? 90’s?) vintage. All of the other’s I own/owned were all bridge standard.

That got me a few times before too

Still, the old Kems are by far my favorite card and they have the most interesting card backs. For more modern cards, I think the Desjgn classic culture(or whatever Jason’s bridge cards are called) feel most like pre USPCs than any other card I’ve tried. Fourniers are great for a similar feel too IMO.

They must have been custom made by Kem for "The Old Bridge Playing Card Company" since that card came with the deck
