First of all as a new member aplogies if this isnt the best place to post this.
In my search for chips in the UK I have come across an almost complete box of old John Huxley chips. I believe they are from th 60s or 70s but would love to know more. They weigh about 8.8g each.
Any thoughts?

This is the jockey mold, now made by classicpokerchips.com

My guess is these were by Burt or ASM and sold by John Huxley LTD in the UK.

Cool chips for sure!

Shipping and tax make it a lot harder at this end I can assure you. Still I paid it to get a set of Nile Club but did get fortunate finding a set of nr mint Lady luck MO in the UK where someone else had paid the fees.
Still i keep my eyes peeled.

I can imagine. I have a fellow collector in the UK. I'm not a collector of poker chips but my eyes fel on these because they are black and they are in their original box. Always a plus with collectors of gambling memorabilia. I'm a singles collector and search for Belgium and mother of pearl. Enjoy the hobby! Jo from Belgium.
