I have decided to part with the set that pulled me into this chipping hobby: a complete ~1,500 piece multi-table set of leaded Paulson chips from the Vineyard Casino. I made a post a few years back with the known history of the casino + details of the original chip purchase, for those with additional questions or looking for more pics:
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/the-vineyard-casino-history-and-info.20015/

The breakdown is as follows, and all chips have been cleaned:
  • 314 = Lakeshore Inn $0.25 (hand picked from over 1500+ chips)
  • 410 = $1
  • 546 = $5
  • 101 = $20
  • 105 = $100 (rarest 8V version: 43mm chips)
  • 1,476 chips = TOTAL bank of over $15,700

This is an extremely challenging set to try and build, as most chips are locked away in chip vaults. Chips ship FOB from my post office (likely two FRBs to cover the mass), and insurance is available at actual cost on top of the shipping cost. Payment via Venmo please; however, I will accept PayPal from international buyers. Feel free to post any questions you may have, and best of luck to all!

Wow! What a great set. Here I am this morning, posting on PCF about my long-gone Vineyards, and then here are some more of these beauties. A young chipper might invest in his or her future this way. This set does cost less than a year of college tuition...

She won't just kick them either ...

There would likely be permanent damage inflicted by way of a knife or worst ..
My girlfriend doesn’t quite understand the concept of “gambling money stays in the gambling wallet for gambling, liquid net worth stays in the bank/IRL wallet.” It’s my strictest rule and it serves me well—I never dip into one for the other, and it prevents me from coming close to betting over my head—I can bet my whole bankroll on black, have it land on red, and walk out of the casino comfortable I’m not going to be financially harmed in the slightest.

Dropped a couple grand on chips weeks after spending a couple hundred on Valentines Day, and to say I was in the doghouse would be understatement of the century.

GLWA @inca911 hopefully someone with a bank account unknown to the WAGs scoops these up! Great chips!

Same for me. All poker related expenses come out of my bankroll. Even traveling for meet ups. Saying that. I kind of want to spend my whole bankroll on this set, tear it apart, keep what I want, and sell the rest. The problem is. I don't think my bankroll will ultimately be enough. This is going to top 10k imo.
