Green? Soul reaver or the green archer from gauntlet

Green's looking good I've got to say. I'm still trying to work a first person shooter into the mix, but the 12 characters/sprites I've chosen are pretty badass and none really deserve to be replaced.

i'm gonna hijack your theme and suggest a triadic colour scheme for your chips. e.g for brown (dark orange) use green/violet, for green use violet/orange, for red use blue/yellow. looking at a bunch of old titles it seems to be reasonably common scheme, as well as lots of black/white for contrast. I'm not looking at your designs directly though, so it might also be a terrible idea, hah!

This is not a terrible idea. I think each chip, no matter what medium, should have a main color that makes it easily identifiable in a pile or a stack. So a chip could be triadic, as long as it had a main dominant color and the other two colors were secondary. On a clay chip, you do that with edge spots, and maybe some of the art on the inlay, and it can look really good. The problem with the execution of such a thing on the chips I'm making is that if I wanted edgespots, I'd get some clay chips. The advantage of the ceramic medium is that I can put WHATEVER I WANT onto the edge of the chip. Why would I want it to look like a clay chip when there are so many more possibilities? Additionally, unless you get PERFECT alignment, edge spots don't look right on a ceramic.

Plus, how cool is it to have Sub-Zero on the inlay, and some text like "FINISH HIM!" on the side of the chip?

Now my chips need a name lol
Hadn't got that far yet.
Gonna go play some Skyrim instead of thinking about it
