Was just watching this on cbs sports. It’s the final table of the 10k limit Omaha 8. Chips in play are 5k, 25k, 100k. Blinds are 60/120 with bets at 120/240. So it makes sense that the next level is 75/150 and since it’s limit let’s go ahead and color up those 5s…nope! They go to 80/150??? Why? I had to look twice and make sure it wasn’t 80/160. It was definitely 80/150 with 150/300 bets. Then the next level 100/200, THEN remove the 5k and go to 125/250. I don’t get it at all.

I want to make structure with just random sb sizes now.

The no limit events routinely had a 100k/150k blind level. WSOP lol

My best guess is they had scheduled a color up of 500 before the 8k/15k level, and someone making the blind levels just multiplied everything by 10 to save time. Just like they had colored up the 1k before the 10k/15k level in no limit

Yes! I’ve noticed that every tournament. 100/150 every time instead of 75/150 and then 100/200 right after. So weird. I know early on there are things like 300/500 then 300/600 and that’s understandable due to 100 being the smallest chip in play. But no explanation for the rest other than someone being lazy I guess.
