It has been a month and I am new to the whole game of collecting chips but I fell hard. Checking and rechecking this site daily. When thinking about what my first set was going to be I decided to go with what I love which is exploring and checking out different casinos. So I wanted to give each player a different casino to play with. I know as a true poker player this would drive most of us up the wall but the guys I hope to play with in the future know nothing about poker and I think would enjoy the fun of representing a different set of chips each game. Without further comment here are the results...

Player 1 - All Horseshoe Cinn chips
Player 2 - All Horseshoe Cinn chips
Player 4 - All Lady Luck
Player 5 - All Lady Luck
Player 6 - All Isle Cape Girardeau
Player 6 - All Roadhouse
Player 7 - $1 PCA, $5 Empress, $25 Jack, $100 Funster
Player 8 - All chips from different casinos - no duplicates (Pending when I can go to AC to get some $1's)

Breakdown per player is 10 - $1's, 8 - $5's, 2 - $25's, 1 - $100 total starting chips $200.

Very happy with how it turned out. What do you guys think?

Thank you to @The Chip Exchange, @TheChipRoom, @FordPickup92, @The Nuts @Apache for selling me some chips

Special thanks to @dmoney, @navels, @Statesvegas for the generous start to my building. Especially to a first timer. When this lock down is over I am going to run out and get you guys something for your kindness.

Finally I hope to build up a few more casinos into the mix so if anyone wants to sell 10-20 $1's or $5's or random $25's and $100's from PCA, PNY, Empress, Jack, Kash, Copa or any casino you think I should include in my set please let me know.

Thanks!

So long as they all stack nicely together, I think that's freaking awesome! Will make for one hell of a splashed pot!

Is this for a tournament or cash game? What stakes would you be playing if it's a cash game?

I might get more grief because we are going to use them for a simple $5 tournament. I am mostly a tournament player, honestly hate cash if its the only thing to play I will, but I hate tournament chips. I hate the feel and look of them so I didn't want to get a set of them even though that would be the "right" way to play.

You might run into problems playing this set as is for tournaments, because nobody can comfortably make change for a $100.

I already ran into the problem when I played heads up with my wife. I do have some spare chips that I am able to use but if someone has a better breakdown I would love to hear it.

10x T1
13x T5
9x T25
2x T100

That would make a total of 500 chips per person. Yes, that would require a decent amount of more chips.... But that's not necessarily a bad thing :)

I didn't think I would like mixed sets within the same denomination, but I actually like this a lot. Nice work.

No grief, playing a tournament with cash chips is fine, was just asking cause thay breakdown for a cash game set would be extremely problematic as well haha.

More 25s would def help this set play better as a tournament set.

Yep I realized I made a mess for myself...now I need to buy more chips and kicking myself for it.

Cool set! Very similar to my skittles set but obviously plays to a larger stakes game. Nice job coloring matching the red & green base colors, that goes a long way in making the set a little more cohesive. They make for fun games among friends, getting to see where each player's money goes by the end of the night.
