Just an FYI if it wasn’t posted before. The Versa 1000 piece case won’t fit an all 43mm set of chips because the in-between rows can’t accommodate. The chips get sandwiches and can’t hit the bottom of the rack.

On an individual row basis, they are just fine. 43mm chips hit the bottom of the rack. So this case would be fine for mixed 39mm/43mm sets where you stagger 39mm and 43mm for each row.

Dang it wonder if anyone makes one that fits

Those chips deserve better
+1 for a tourney set as amazing as BTPs if you’re looking for a travel case the only right way to do it is a custom case from https://mycasebuilder.com/

A member (I’ll pm you so they don’t get there inbox blasted) had one made for an AS set from the same site and it came out amazing.

Now this is what I'm talkin' about!! I will look into it for sure.

I think for 43mm chips, the best options would be either what you just posted or Matsui racks in the new Versa 1000pc "bird cage" style case.

Unless you’re going to be traveling with them a lot I’d suggest the Versa/Matsui route. Not nearly as cool looking but I’ll save you hundreds.

Right ok... I do have a few of the Versa bird cage style cases... now I just gotta get the Matsui racks...

If your wanting a travel case ReallyGoodUsername's suggestion is the way to go, but if they're going to be keepers like mine, i really like to spoil my chips with a case i got years ago on CT.

Big dogs on the top all others down under. Looking to change the top tray to accommodate 5 rows of 43mm facing you when lid is opened.

This set never leaves home,
1: Its heavy
2: Only comes out for family and mates

Nice Ritz’s... of all the hotels I’ve ever stayed at, the Hong Kong Ritz is out of this world nice.

And yes I’m actually already in touch with ChanMan... we’ll see how it works out. I normally take my chips out to play instead of hosting...

Matsui's fit in regular bird cages, so don't see why they wouldn't fit in the versa.

Anyone have some spare matsui racks? Looking for 10...

The Matsui racks are nearly impossible to get it seems, I've been looking for a while with only limited success

Matsui racks are 8 13/16"
43mm racks with the suits are 9 1/8"

Your best bet is 43mm racks and a members mark or similar pluck foam case.
^^ This is exactly how my 1000-chip 43mm tournament set travels -- in 43mm racks, double-stacked in a locked 22" Members Mark case (with inverted racks on top for extra protection). When not mobile, the racks sit on a display shelf (in the chip closet, located in the chip room).

I'm not a fan of the fragile Matsui racks. Loose-fitting and very prone to damage.

43mm bird cages are available from casino equipment distributors (like Midwest or probably Unique), but usually are expensive and often require a commercial account.

Ok I think the BTP’s deserve this treatment... I’ll look into this!

This I can agree with, they are quite fragile. While they work well as a storage solution, I would not trust them as an option for travel or excessive movement.

This is intriguing. I am having a 1,500-chip set of 43-mm customs made right now by BR Pro Poker. Can you give me an idea on how much something like this runs? Thanks!
