I just want my Mirage 5s

Heading to Vegas in June. I will be doing some harvesting of my own so I don't mind taking orders.

I need to go to Ceasers anyway to get my rack of 1s.

Sucks to hear about Drumhoss I was about to get in contact with him to harvest for me.

Just to add insult to injury.... the five old school Treasure Island chips I bought from someone else were lost by USPS the past week. They were scanned on the truck and never made it out. F*ck poker chips (n)

I got my money back but I need the chips (and TIs are not easy to find at reasonable prices)

I was always leery about paying up front for the harvesting of live chips by someone doing it as a business. A small deposit to cover their time? Sure, OK. But as a business ... if the buyer doesn't pay the chips go back and the business person is only out their time and that's where the small deposit comes in.

Pivoting a bit to the "gee I wonder" topic, I wonder if Drumhoss hasn't attracted attention from the authorities. By the letter of the law chips in NV are the property of the casino. Sure we've all seen stories of people openly buying a rack or two at the cage and walking out. To a certain extent the casinos are OK with that. But when they're seeing the same guy buying racks week after week they are going to get suspicious. Is he a mobster? Is he a money launderer? They don't know and they're obligated to investigate. And/or maybe someone within the industry found his online presence and said enough is enough. He gets pulled into a room filled with casino security and the NGCB and told that he is banned from the casinos and he is to cease all operations immediately under threat of prosecution for theft and not having the proper licenses to deal in gambling instruments. Who knows?

Another forumite got in trouble for harvesting at an Ohio casino and he wasn't even doing it as a business - just for himself and the occasional favor for a PCFer.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. Everybody here is bashing the guy, meanwhile, he can’t respond because some guy with a crooked nose and silk socks chopped off his thumbs.

How come every time we get the pitch fork grinding wheel up and running, someone has to interject reason, logic and lucid thought? Why can't we just enjoy the mob mentality?!

If @DJ Mack is on the right track, and if drumhoss returns all the money out there, I'm sure there would be far less of a shit show.

If I'm on the right track then I wouldn't hold my breath. In that case whatever funds he had are probably in his lawyer's kid's college fund or perhaps some kind of forfeiture agreement.

My good sir, please, by all means, carry on! Regardless of whether I'm right or not I doubt the money will be forthcoming.

How long did it finally take to confirm ABlackCar wasn’t returning everyone’s money?

^FYP. Somewhere between three and six months, maybe? Some were quicker to take up the pitchforks than others. I still shake my head in disbelief.

I really wasn’t going anywhere with that beyond being too lazy to read through that whole shitshow again. Thank you for clarifying those details, BG.

Need me some racks of Caesars $1s and $2s. I might take you up on that offer if I don't find some by then.

I had the same thing happen I threatened to out him publicly on the forum and then he found my chips and sent them months later - figured it was a one off - guess not #almostMEtoo
