Since there's a "Favorite Car You've Owned?" thread, I figured I would start a car you have now thread.

My 2011 Toyota Tacomo TRD Sport. (My first non-GM vehicle) Couple of more months and it will be paid off! I hope to stay car payment free for at least 10 years. It has just under 40k miles on it.

Call me a tightwad. 2003 Toyota Highlander, 130,000 miles. I will drive it till it proves unreliable or something unfortunate happens (Like a suicide deer leaps in front of it driving 70 mph)

Wife's car is a 2008 Camry with 90,000 miles - we haven't had a car payment in 25 years.

Silver 2007 Mazda B2300 which is just the Mazda badged Ford Ranger. Small 4 cylinder truck because I wanted something fuel efficient but needed a truck to haul around plywood and poker tables. I test drove a new Dodge Ram a few weeks ago. Nice truck but a bit too big for what I need, not to mention the 5.7L Hemi which will suck down the fuel.

I may trade up to a Nissan Frontier or Toyota Tacoma, V6 for either one. I need a bigger engine to haul around my trailer full of poker tables. I'm afraid my current truck will blow up one of these after hauling a bit too much weight.

Nice FJ. Lots of Toyotas up in here. This is a recent pic of mine:

Now:

2013 Mini Roadster S, Kite Blue.
2002 BMW 325, 5-sp, sports suspension, sports seats, etc.
2007 Yamaha C3 50cc, 4-stroke, 115 mpg.
2002 Honda 919 (CB900F), 919 cc, cored, Corbin Gunfighter.
2001 Aprilia Falco, 998 cc, factory carbon fiber cans, nasty on the knees. License plate: BRAAAP.

Sold both Formula Fords. :(

Coming soon, at least one of these:

- WCM UltraLite: http://www.wcmultralite.com/gallery.htm

- Stalker XL: http://stalkercars.com/models/

- 2016 Mazda MX-5 Club

and for the wife: 2016 BMW 4 door, European delivery. No turbo; lighter is better.

Aprilias are the shit. I still have the RSV I bought new in 2000. Zero significant problems in 15 years....

They are. Terrific bikes, and love Rotax engines. Sadly, my knees can't take it much any more.

Nice RSV -- but my knees couldn't take that bike even back then.

2015 Nissan Rogue. Traded in a 2006 Chevy Uplander for it. No regrets.

And then there's therapy. 2008 Kawasaki Versys, bought new in 2009 after trading in my '02 KLR650C. Wish I could have kept the KLR, but oh well...

2013 Nissan Altima 2.5 S Coupe (last year they produced the coupe to my understanding)

Traded up from a 2010 Camry which was super bland and not fun at all. This coupe is a lot more fun, great pickup, agile, fantastic sound system and I like the sporty style.

2015 BMW M235i. Probably my favorite daily driver ever. Very comfortable and yet it has as many hp as the M3 I owned 10 years ago, but in a more civilized package.

2004 Honda S2000. I bought it off Craig's list a little over a year ago with 34k miles. It's a ton of fun but not very practical. It's a better spring/fall car than Texas summer where we are flirting with 100 degrees today.

Sweet S-2000! When he lived in TX, my brother had a silver one that I drove a lot. Great ride, except that I didn't particularly care for sitting that low below the windows, and I'm 6'-3"+.

The S-2000 powertrain is the prime attraction in the World Championship Motorsports Lotus 7 clone that I'm considering.

If you get an S2k engine be aware the oil banjo bolts were revised in mid 2002 and there were cracked/failed retainer issues with all AP1s (00-03). The oil bolt and retainer problems can kill engines but are relatively easy to replace with the newer parts.

Thanks for the tips!

Nothing too exciting 2005 F150 XL 98k.

Roll down windows and vinyl seats and floors.

2001 Honda Nighthawk 750 with just under 17K.

Both were purchased new by me and will continue to be mine until they are no longer reliable.

I MUCH prefer small, fast cars now. I'm fairly certain it's usually the other way around...

Usually, but they do have fast SUVs now too. ;)
I like the Jeep SRT8 now since they don't make the Trailblazer SS anymore. The centered dual exhaust on the first gen Jeep SRT8 was very cool looking.

I currently own the worst cars I've ever had. The Saudi desert will destroy a cars appearance inside and out. I spend money on chips now, not cars. Got a 1998 Land Rover Discovery for the dunes and a 2002 Honda Accord for work. When I visit home next summer, I'm buying a new Tacoma for the States and I'll garage it when not in use.
