Haven’t been in Mexico for years. Leaving 3 kids at home with a competent relative and RELAXING. I’ve been going on company trips since 2002 and now I’m the “old guy”. So much fun.

We have 400+ people on this trip. The highlight today was seeing a very young couple who both work at my firm having a fight/make out session at the lobby bar. They were fighting. And making out. And fighting. But they are young and that what young people do. I love my job.

Time to get another marg.

FINALLY!! On my way to Valdisere/Tignes! Hoping to post some nice pics next week! :)

I had a great week with mixed weather! Highest altitude I reached was a bit over 3400 meters when skiing the glaciers, lowest was about 1500.

Here's me about to launch myself down one of my favorite red pistes in the Alps. It's called OK after two French stars (O is for Oreiller who won 2 golds 48, K is for Killy who won all three alpine gold medals in the Grenoble Olympics 68) and is used on the world cup circuit for the women's downhill and super-g.

Here's a pic of La Face de Bellevarde, a slope used for the Downhill races in Val D'Isere the1992 Olympics the 2009 World Championships. On the world cup circuit the bottom part used for the men's slalom.

I have shown the slope in red below, but the downhill races of 1992 and 2009 had a slightly different route. I remember skiing La Face on my first trip to the Alps ever 2015 and I was just happy to make it down in one piece! 9 year's later and I had no problem with it whatsoever! :) I guess you can teach old dogs new tricks!

Here's the "Eye of the needle" in Tignes:

To this day tourists are still told how James Bond jumped through the Eye of the Needle! And if you ask which movie, they say "the one where he skis". If you press them, they can't really tell. But it's a fact! He jumped though it! In that movie, you know. Where he skis...
This is where I tell them that I've watched every Bond movie multiple times. Believe me, he never jumps through this rock formation in Tignes! :ROFLMAO:

I never used to enjoy camping but now that I’ve hit middle age, I have fully embraced being a camp dad.

We went to a place called Matauri Bay which is towards the top of New Zealand, approximately 4 hours drive from where we live in Auckland.

The drive there and back is terrible with a screaming 2 year old though o_O

My father has owned sailboats for the past 30 years, he beat stomach cancer 2 years ago and wanted to take my sister and I sailing in the BVI. We chartered a 50 foot catamaran and got a group together to sail. It was an amazing adventure, the pics don’t show how it felt sailing those islands, you could see pirate ships sailing these waters and coves. Boat had 6 bedrooms, there were 9 of us. “Justin Beaber” we saw at Willie T’s, he was there with his “daddy” on their yacht. You can see anything goes in these waters, we sailed by Epstein island and Richard Branson’s island. I can’t imagine anyone patrolling anything down there. Definitely beautiful, but man I love the USA, I’ll take the NH Seacoast everyday.

Just noticed the pic before the map has my vintage blue and yellow copags and custom ceramics in a box on the table.

I'm down in FLA spending some time with friends in Sebring and the in-laws in Punta Gorda. Here is a pic of me and my new friends playing poker. I was in for 5 and out for 3......dollars, not hundreds.....the bets were nickle (mostly), dime (a dime anytime) and quarter (rarely other than the dealer ante). Had a blast and am going back for more this Monday!!

I went back to try and win my $2 from the old guys that beat up on me last week. They peeled me for another $15!! Damn it!! All the crazy wild card games, draw games and calling stations didn't do me any favors.

So I thought I would go back tonight and try my luck at bingo. It seems the old female bagels are an easier mark than the old dudes. I hit them up for a half of a traditional bingo game, a small picture frame game and the big coverall finale.....in for $5 and out for $64....maybe I should consider a change from poker to bingo.....the field seems a bit softer!!! :ROFLMAO:

Just a day trip to Susquehanna State park in Connowingo Maryland. Saw dozens and dozens of bald eagles at the top of the Chesapeake Bay. Very beautiful.

At the dam there are probably 50+ people with massive camera setups trying to get eagles doing cool stuff. No eagle pics - I was taking it in and forgot!

Weekend trip to Penang. The food definitely lived up to the reputation! The white curry, noodle with fried fish, and infamous Teochew Chendul (Michelin star!) was phenomenal
