Outpost Casino Sale - Round 2

The first sale went better than I expected. I sold through over half of the Outpost chips I had in just a few days. I am now offering the remaining chips I have left as individual racks and sets, but this time, you do not need to purchase a set to buy any of the chips listed here. However, some chips are still only offered in sets like the $1s and petunia $20s as I don't have enough extras to offer them by the rack.

I still have a lot of $5s left, so I decided to go through the remaining racks while I was removing heavily warped and damaged chips and sorted them by condition. If you're familiar with buying used golf balls, you've probably come across the following {AAAA, AAA, AA, A, B} grading scale for used balls with definitions along the lines below. I like this scale and think it applies well to the chips I've sorted:
  • AAAA is a near mint or better condition used golf ball, almost indistinguishable from new
  • AAA would be in excellent used condition but a step below the AAAA
  • AA is in good playable condition with plenty of life left for most golfers
  • A is in obviously used but still playable condition and is great for those who are just going to shank the ball into the woods anyhow
  • B is in range ball condition
I'm applying this grading scale to my remaining sorted Outpost $5s. Here are some pics of the approximate rack conditions I've associated with each grade. Condition is of course on a continuous scale, so there will be slight variation across the lot, but these photos are good estimates of their condition overall. The majority of the $5s I received are in AA condition. I will be reserving all the AAA $5s for PCF members and will probably be listing some of the AA $5s on eBay. The AAAA $5s I have weren't actually sorted by me. They were sold to me as "new" condition when I bought them from the original owner. Technically they're very lightly used, but they are as good as new to me and they're not for sale as they are in my keeper set.

I also have some individual racks of the fracs and both primary and secondary $20s available. I will use the same grading scale when describing those. These racks weren't sorted by me, but I believe the previous owner sorted them already as some racks were sold to me as "New" but were in fact very lightly used and what I'm calling AAAA condiiton.

NEW $5s - SOLD OUT

AAAA $5s - $300 per rack (6 racks available, 3 sold)
These have been cleaned & oiled

AAA $5s - $155 $140 per rack (1 rack left, 7 sold)

AA $5s - $125 $115 $100 per rack (6 available, 34 racks sold)

A $5s - None available
These would be heavily worn or "bicycle tire" chips. I don't have any racks in this condition, but if I did, they'd probably look something like this:

B $5s - $50 for the rack - SOLD
These are in rough shape. Most are warped, some are damaged, others are just bicycle tires. If you are good at cleaning and flattening you might want these for a project or for spares.

Outpost Casino Pacheco Set! (1059 chips total) - $1550 SOLD
These are all of the chips I got from the Pacheco Outpost. Overall, they are in slightly better condition than the San Ramon chips, but not by a lot. The colors are insane on these. Especially after cleaning/oiling (see sample set for cleaned/oiled colors). I will throw in one dealer button from my personal collection with these. I do not have any more dealer buttons available though. This is the only one I am willing to let go of. Quantities are as follows:
  • 100 25¢ (mix of AAA & AAAA)
  • 384 $1s (AA)
  • 455 $5s (between AA & AAA)
  • 120 $20s (between AAA & AAAA)
  • 1 Dealer Button

AAAA $20 primaries - $300 $225 per rack (1 rack left, 1 sold)
I cleaned and oiled these.

AAA $20 primaries - $225 $150 per rack (2 racks left) SOLD OUT
These have not been cleaned. But if you decide to clean them, they should turn out great! (see colors on cleaned/oiled chips above). @Potsie1 has a rack of these that I cleaned/oiled because I owed him a favor, but I'm not cleaning any more of these. Sorry guys.

AAA+ $20 secondaries - $320 $250 per rack (1 rack left - 2 sold)
I cleaned and oiled these.
They're insane. One of my all-time favorite chips.

AAA+ 25¢ Error Fracs - $400 (1 rack available)
I have cleaned and oiled these.
They were supposed to be $25s, but Paulson made a few racks of them as 25¢ chips by mistake. I have 2 racks left in my personal collection. I don't really want to sell these, and the price reflects that. But everyone seems to want them, so I decided I would offer one of my racks at a premium price (the second rack would cost you your kidney). They are pretty fantastic old school leaded shaped inlay fracs with great colors! Please don't buy these!

New 50¢ chips - $200 per rack - SOLD OUT

Outpost Casino San Ramon Sorted Set - $875 $750 (1 set left, 1 sold)
This set comes with the best of the used $1s, $5s, & $20s that I had left after selling half of my chips and sorting the ones I had left. The $1s are all sorted as SCVs and they stack nicely. The $5s are all from the AAA racks shown above, and $20s are the AAA+ cleaned & oiled petunia secondaries shown above. The $1s & $5s have not been cleaned, but they should clean up nicely. These are the best 2 used sets I have available from the San Ramon Outpost.

Outpost Casino San Ramon Standard Set - $675 $628 (2 sets available) SOLD OUT
This set comes with the sorted SCV $1s, the AA $5s, & the AAA darker purple $20s. The $1s are all sorted as SCVs and they stack nicely. The $5s are all from the AA racks shown above, and $20s are the non-cleaned AAA primaries shown above with the darker purple spots. None of these chips have been cleaned, but they should clean up nicely.

Those $20 secondaries and quarters are beautiful. Unfortunately I've bought a year's worth of poker chips in the two months I've been here. There will be other chips to come, I'm sure. These will go quick.

I have updated the remaining quantities and have made some price cuts to pretty much everything I have left. I recently acquired more Outpost chips from another member and, as a result, I will be able to offer a few more sets that will have a barrel of $100s and a rack of the pink 25¢ fracs in them. I will post those in a new thread soon. Here is a teaser pic though...

Damnit. Need 100's!

If anyone wants to split one of these depending on price I'm in on the Hundos for sure. Maybe the quarters
