I bought these as a challange to see if I could do them. Almost 500 chips and can only do 9 at a time.(don't have enough

plain Ceramice to do more).

All these chips are warped very bad and need one hell of a good cleaning.

Most are Near New/New Condition outerwise.

Enjoy the Pic's, as they come out pretty damm good. See if ya can tell the difference...

175 Deg, tightened frequently and when I though it was enough, tightened just a little more, left in clamp and put in Freezer until cooled.

These look great, Russ.

I haven't tried flattening warped chips yet. I'm nervous, since I've seen some chips that were "fixed", tightened "just a little (too much) more"...and ended up squooshed.

Probabally 10-15 Minutes, tightening every couple minutes. After they get warm/hot , you can tell when to stop tightening them. Just go slow and watch the edges of the chips.
When the screw get tight STOP.

When done, I have found putting them in the freezer clamped together lets them cool and not return to warped.

I should be sure after a few days.

It is somewhat fun, but very time consumming.

I need more Ceramics do go faster and an additional C Clamp or 2.

I wasan't sure about the TR Kings , but they are the same as the Paulson's.

I’ve posted this in other warp threads but I had great success with 140 degrees for 10-15 minutes for BCC chips. Just adding that in there

Great pick up Russ. They were in my watch list but I forgot to bid... Glad you got them!

My Oven only goes low to 175 Deg.

I'll check on the parchment.

175 degrees is too hot, and a chip disaster just waiting to happen.

Check the PCF thread on using a light bulb in your oven to flatten chips. With the thermal characteristics of the oven, a light bulb will create sufficient heat to do the job without catastrophic risk.

Yeah, can’t stress that enough.

175 degrees is like Jessica Alba hot.

You’re looking for a milder 135-145 Jessica Biel hot. Or even a combo like Jennifer Love Hewitt where she starts off hot, then cools off, then gets hot again.

Good thread. Seems he got lucky with 175... chips look good.

I'll have to try something similar with some old warped fun nites.

Just to Note, that the TRK's are much harder to get flat !!!!!!!!
