I don't have many casinos in my neck of the woods and even the closest one takes about an hour to get to.

When I recently asked what their rake structure is because I saw the dealer rake a €10 chip in a medium sized pot, they handed me this card.

What do you guys think about this structure?
I'm pretty sure Vegas casinos rake ~10% but cap it way sooner than $25.
The german casinos rake (at least in most pots) less than 10% but don't cap it until the pot hits 250bb. This seems pretty high...

I don't know, maybe someone can run the numbers and come to a conclusion what model is better for the player.

Also: chop the blinds yes/no?

It felt real high at 2.5% to 10% and capped at $25 for $1/2 game

Comparing to Singapore Casino Poker Rake

The lowest stake here is $10/20 game and the rake is Fixed at 5% capped at $75 per pot, worst part is you get rake even if no flop was dealt

Both are equally bad rake

Seems high without knowing what the average pot would be here. If most pots are under 100, then probably not. Also, do they count a not-called bet as part of the pot? e.g. if the pot is $80, you bet $50 and the player folds, do they count that as a $130 pot? If so, that sucks.

The only way I would agree to chop blinds is if it is agreed upon that both my blinds are chopped every time. If not, then I am not giving up the BB position advantage, then having to play my SB oop.
