Due to certain, shall we say unavoidable, limitations this will be an invite only meetup. Wife's rules! For now this is more of a save-a date for the meetup but plans include plenty of cash games, a Saturday tournament (which will include my locals) and lots of different chips.

Situated at the base of the Cascade Mountains, Wenatchee, WA is located in central Washington. In the mountainous shadow, our community of about 50,000 people gets very little rainfall. Make no mistake, this isn't Seattle (125mi away). Arrival to the Wenatchee valley is through our local airport on a thrice daily Seattle connection or through Seattle itself followed by a 2.5hr drive over the mountains.

There are ample opportunities to bike/hike in the region. Weather this time of the year starts to cool off and is generally very pleasant. Nights are cold however due to the desert climate.

Leavenworth, WA may still be having their annual Oktoberfest this time of year.

Nearby Chelan offers year round foodie delights with multiple wineries with some great restaurants and tasting rooms overlooking the beautiful Lake Chelan.

Folks that would like to come in a little early to tour the area should contact me about opportunities.

Sponsors:
Thursday's dinner will be BBQ Pork made by Chris and Andrea (Gear and Wifey).
Trophy's have been sponsored by Tom, aka MrTree
Hot dog Roller has been sponsored by Paulo, aka Chaosrock

Meet-up apparel by J5 and the Zombies

A great big thanks for these amazing contributions!

Logistics:
Wenatchee has an airport with 3 flights daily in and out of town. Connections in Seattle can be hit or miss as far as timing. Seattle is 2.5hours away if you plan to drive over the mountains.

Parking here at the house is ample. My driveway has some parking and the street is fair game as well.

Hotels:
I would recommend Comfort Inn/Suites as it is the closest and reasonably priced.

Comfort Inn/Suites
195 E. Penny Rd
Wenatchee, WA 98801
(509) 662-1818

Holiday Inn Express
1921 N. Wenatchee Ave
Wenatchee, WA 98801
(509) 663-6355

Spring Hill Suites
1730 N. Wenatchee Ave
Wenatchee, WA 98801
(509) 667-2775

Anyone driving with an RV will find ample sites nearby. Confluence Park is the closest to my house and Monitor, WA has great sites as well.

Breakfast:
Bob's Classic Diner
Wild Huckleberrry - do NOT order more than 1 pancake. You've been warned!
Anjou Bakery - an absolute must for breakfast pastry and a coffee.
Pybus Bistro - Saturday and Sunday only. Great takes on French toast and Steak'n'Eggs

I probably can't afford it. I'll be attending two meet ups (@Jeff and @David O ). Plus I'm planning on hosting a June meet up. I'll probably be out (that's if I was going to get an invite, doesn't sound like you want riff raff there lol).

I've never been to the state of Washington though.........hmmmmmm

Well shit fire, who wouldn’t want to play at the Chateau. I show up most every place that opens the doors to the unwashed.

Oh yes, for the love of noix, I’m in!

...Anywhere in Wenatchee where you can get a good breakfast pot roast? Asking for a flatulent friend....

Along the the lines of invites...

As much as I’d love to open this up to the PCF community as a whole, I cannot. In order to host this meetup, certain stipulations must be met. One of those is that I strictly adhere to hosting people I personally know and can vouch for. While that leaves out a great number of solid PCF members, I will not in good faith bend this rule.

Space is also artificially limited further making choices difficult.

My hope is that in the future, the sucesss of this meetup will allow more relaxed rules regarding attendance.

Thanks to all in advance for your understanding.
