Wanted Ultimate Bet Tourney Set (1 Viewer)

After a recent thread got me remembering chips i saw when i first came around in '15.
I figure I'd give this a shot.
Looking for a tourney set of the Ultimate Bet chips.
I'm up for a history lesson if anyone would be so inclined

Thanks man! This is probably the only “grail set” (in my eyes at least) I think I’d actually have a realistic shot at.
Lord knows I’d have to fall ass first into a shit ton of money to get that BTP

If I recall some past posts about these chips correctly, these chips were made primarily for Ultimate Bet blackjack tournaments, not necessarily poker tournaments. And I think that's one reason that there are a lot more 25 and 100 chips made than the higher denominations, maybe like 10 to 20 times more 25s and 100s (?)

Full disclosure: I own 1 rack of 25s & 1 rack of 100s (and might consider selling at a fairly reasonable price, if you wanted to build a mixed tournament set around them). But you may have a hard time finding any 500, 1000, or 5000s.

Yeah you should be able to find the 25's & 100's pretty easily they are out there. I finally sold all my lower denoms some time back because the upper denoms, especially the 1K & 5K are a tough find. GLWS!

Awesome! Only thing I’ve been able to find is a couple posts stating @Apache sold their UN chips after the scandal broke. Not sure if it’s true or not

Agree with this. I've mostly seen the 100's pop up now and then, but never seen racks of $500 and up.

Yea that’s the consensus about this set, like most, is finding the bigger demons. But I’ll be on the hunt none the less. After all, that is part of the “fun” of chipping lol.

Weekend bump.
Had some inquiries about 25’s/ 100’s nothing on anything else, which I knew was likely coming in. I’ll have better luck find a barrel or two of a 43mm and relabel as 5000’s.

I love these chips! They go well with my $1 Freddie’s Club and $5 Cincy Horseshoe. It took years for me to find the $500
