The Royal Mint is printing some new coins, and I'd like to get a couple of each. Any idea on how I can do this? I'm willing to pay, of course.

That's a great link. Didn't even occur to me to check directly with the mint. It appears they are available for international delivery. I just want the coins, though. not all the extras. It seems rather silly to pay over 35 pounds for less than 5 pounds worth of coin. I'm having a hard time finding out whether or not they'll just be available in circulation.

Actually, I did find that they'll be in circulation. The 50p coin around March, unsure on the dates of the others. Perhaps I should just wait a bit.

"Proof" or "mint" coins always bring a hefty premium. They aren't intended for circulation and are generally made to a far higher quality standard. The difference is striking - worth it my opinion.

You have to pay premium for the pretty cardboard packaging they come with too!! ;)
