UK - alternatives to speedcloth (1 Viewer)

Hi. I'm interested in building a 5ft Round table but as far as I can tell, you just can't get speedcloth wide enough.

So... Can anyone point to UK/EU suppliers of wider sizes, or better still can anyone recommend other playing surfaces that are as good/better than speedcloth that *would* fit a 5ft wide table?

I think shipping and import tax word make anything in the US too costly, so this is a question for my EU friends (and bonus points for UK lol).

I re-clothed several tables using Navy Baize sold on eBay by the metre. Never been a fan of speedcloth, prefer the synthetic casino type layouts on poker tables and Baize with laminate foam underlay from wickes etc gives a very similar result.

I’ll be ordering a couple of @rjdev7 ‘s newer custom table toppers as soon as I get my table sorted - these ones ship direct to the UK from China so are great value and beat anything available here (as far as I know…) by miles.

You are not going to find wider SC…maybe snooker/pool felt is a good alternative (not cheap either way).

Minor correction, these ship from within northern Europe, not China. I am done with China as their quality control was poor.

Max size we can do is 4’ in a round though.

I come to the UK twice a year to visit in-laws. If you want to order a custom cloth and have it shipped to me, I could probably pack it in my checked bag. I’d be in London.
