Trying to qualify for Elite card at Tampa Hard Rock - need advice (1 Viewer)

Think about that for a second. Binge watch a YouTube channel where a man acts like a total asshole, for the sake of making other people angry or uncomfortable. Then he gets paid for it.

Then others begin to act like assholes, because it's eazy money.

Binge watch this - because America needs more assholes.
That's one character in a lineup of people he does. I'm not sure why you are so angry? His new character actually catches pedophiles coming to meet young kids. So he exposes these people, its actually doing a good thing. But I'm sure you will have a reason why that's stupid too.

Not angry - just disappointed that people wish to support him continuing that character. If he does good deeds, those should be celebrated - but if he does bad things, those should be chided.

Nailed it.

Be careful out there, @Anthony Martino...

Here's what I've received so far since I got the Elite card for those who'd like to know:

Don't have pics for these others but also received:

- 2 nights free stay at the hotel between Sun-Thurs
- Samsonite Cooler Backpack
- $75 Free Slot Play (twice)
- $50 Free Slot Play (once)
- Swarovski Necklace
- $10 buffets for myself and a guest (usually $21.95)
- Access to Elite Parking level
- Special line at restaurants for Elite and X-Card members only

Most everything requires you are there on a certain date to get the items or use them (free slot play) but since I'm playing there for a living it's not too hard to accommodate. I will miss out on the $50 gift card cause I'll be at the SQM meetup on Anna Maria Island. There's also a Wolfgang Puck Spice Mill Duo up for grabs the Monday after I'm back from SQM, but I usually play at Luckys on Mondays so not going to worry too much about it.

Do you think it's equal to, more than, or less than you have paid in rake?

I know this feels like a no-brainer (less than), but one could easily assume that a pretty high percentage does not get redeemed, so paying you a more than you've paid out might not be a big hit to the bottom line.

Hard to tell given I'm only a month in, but should be less at the end of the day

If I play 30 hrs/week x $14/hr × 52 weeks that's like $21,000 in rake, before tips, food, etc

Their new system this year changed to tier points for card qualification, and poker only earns comps, not tier points, so I won't have it next year

You have to play Black Jack/ThreeCard Poker/Craps/other Table games buy in for a Large Amount and then bet a decent amount at first when the pit boss is looking. I have a friend whom used to play Craps every weekend and he bought in for between 500-1000 every time. Me and the rest of our poker crew (about 4-5 guys) when we went to the Sands Casino with him we got Emeril’s Chophouse comped by him and he didn’t mind. If you can’t do that you have to play higher limit slots.
This exactly!
I typically buy into the craps game for $500-$1000 depending on the minimum table bet.
Just doing this and hanging around the table making occasional minimum bets for 30 minutes or so will greatly increase your comps.
Borgata, Hard Rock and Ocean Casino in AC all give me 2 free nights a week, free parking, 2 comped buffets, show tickets and match play.
Doesn’t seem to matter which tier level players card I have. You just have to make them believe your willing to gamble up to a grand or so.
