Wife is in Vegas, so it's going to be 2 days of non-stop action at Truman's House.

On tap: Smuttynose IPA
Bottled beer: Winter warmers and other seasonals
Other: Booze, mixers, soda
Food: Grinders, pizzas and salad

(No charge for any drink or food)

FRIDAY, JANUARY 16th
6:00pm - Cash games start (Table 1 - 25c/50c NLHE/PLO) - Truman's House or guest chipset
8:00pm - Cash games expand (Table 2 - $1/1 Circus Games) - Dunes Paulsons

SATURDAY, JANUARY 17th
1:00pm - Cash games start (Table 1 - 25c/50c NLHE/PLO)
3:00pm - Catered BBQ
4:00pm - $100 PLO Tournament (10K stacks with WSOP set)
6:00pm - Cash games restart (25c/50c NLHE+PLO and $1/1 Circus)

SUNDAY, JANUARY 18th
Can spread cash games around noon, all are welcome to hang out, get some food and beers and watch the NFC and AFC Championship games.

Reply here to lock up a seat. Expected at least 2 tables for this and I'm capped at around 25 players.

I'd like to come for Saturday, if I may?

Sure! PM me your email address and I'll email you updates. I don't know how much room I'll have for overnight guests though - I think the guest rooms are locked up. That OK?

Bring an airbed! :)

The only places left are those that Truman has free reign to. Trust me, you don't want to wake up to a 70 lb English Bulldog sitting on your face at 3am trying to "friend you".

That might not be ideal then.

Drink, eat, and gossip? I have no idea. Chick stuff.

Weird. Last time I went to Vegas, it was with my ex who actually liked to gamble. She did better than I did at poker but then blew it at blackjack, if I remember correctly.

CLB's idea of gamble is get a free drink at the bar playing video poker and punch out after going up or down $2.00. Not even remotely kidding.

Weird. My wife buys rounds of shots and tries to get the entire table drunk. Vegas is the only place I can get her to stay up past midnight. It's like Vegas supercharges her.

Ditto. My wife gets a vodka and cranberry and then spends an hour running down $20 on a slot.

^^This 100%, except the drink will be a margarita or at least something containing tequila.

I think I see a case study forming here: "People who marry degenerates. Are you at risk???"

I think it's very common to marry people who have a lot of basic differences than you. Helps balance out the responsibilities in a marriage. My wife has a MUCH lower risk tolerance than I do.

Interestingly, I have almost a zero risk tolerance with work-related things and personal finances. Just don't expect to get a 3-bet past me pre-flop at poker.

- Tray of Texas Style Sliced Brisket
- Tray of Smashed Potatoes
- Cornbread

Sweet and North Carolina Gold sauces.

Delivery is at 4:00pm.

Yup, count me in on the aim as well. I'll be there Saturday. Not sure what time yet but I'll be there and bring you a gift.

Who's coming for noon (or before) on Saturday? SillyC is making an appearance from 12p-5p and I'd like to get a full table going as quickly as possible. If you want to come over before noon, that's cool too, just let me know so I'm ready.
