Well, I was supposed to stop at 1700, but that didn't happen. Now I have 2331, and that just makes me want more of them.

Here's my current breakdown

$0.25 x 104
$1 x 1041
$5 x 831
$25 x 310
$100 x 35
$500 x 5
$1000 x 5

If you have any TRK Rounders you are willing to sell, regardless of count or condition, I will buy them from you. Please PM me with your info and we can go from there.

Thanks so much!

Enjoy a few quick pron pics (a few racks were oiled, hence the color variation).

Seriously Dan? You are a sick Puppy!!! But I love it!!!

Good luck with the search

Good googally moogally! What is that, 2nd or 3rd mortgage?

Grats man, awesome setup.

Haha. To my knowledge, there are 4 besides me with these chips in volume
  1. @Thomacetti
  2. @acl1904
  3. @Godzilla28
  4. @Seeking Alpha Social Club
I'm sure there are others that I am missing (perhaps @Nbk knows of someone in France with remaining Teddies). However, one thing is for certain, you are all avid collectors and it is my pleasure to be in this group with you. If we joined forces, we could create one massive set.

That being said, I believe I have the most chips already, so it makes sense to send them to me :p

I hate to be the bearer of bad news @MegaTon44 but it looks like your set is suffering from a severe case of chip discolouration - incurable AND contagious discolouration I might add.

Don't worry though, it is your lucky day! I am willing to take these four racks off you hands at any time you wish.
@Señor Tony! Newest member to the "Please Harass" list. Welcome! ;)

My buddy @Dr Newnham will be in contact with you shortly to arrange shipment of your Rounders from Oz to the US.

LOL!!! Your collection is DEFINITELY impressive!! VERY NICE JOB!!!

HOWEVER, @Thomacetti and I have already agreed (he just doesn't know it yet) that tournament and cash sets should not be comingled :D:ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Yours is also an impressive collection. The $500 and $1000 chips are striking in person, especially when oiled.

But for god's sake, please put them in play. I see that factory dust on there. :p

LMAO!! I hear you. My poker peeps bust my balls all the time. They're minty fresh right next to my minty fresh Deadwoods. The only thing that keeps me strong is the other 17 playable sets I get to shuffle every weekend.

^^ This ^^

Bumping this in case any folks are unloading these chips. I'll take individual chips or several thousand, whatever you have.

If anyone sees any of these chips, please lock them up for me (if you feel comfortable doing so). I will absolutely buy. These are the only chips I'm currently collecting.

Thanks so much!

Interesting news for those who have ever wondered about the number of TRK Rounders produced before the company closed up shop. Thanks to help from others, I was able to get in touch with Dennis O'Neill, the former president of TR King. Here was his response:

By the way, I did not ask if he had any to sell. I'm not a savage. Admittedly, the thought did cross my mind. :sneaky: Seriously though, I am completely honored that he even took the time to respond. Hopefully this clears up any uncertainty regarding TRK Rounders volume.

That being said, I now have 3,049 of them, so I'm more than halfway there. So please, contribute to my mission of getting them all :D

quick, someone sell me a rack so in 10 years, I can fund my entire retirement from Dan's need to Pokemon these chips. Figure I can at least get $10k+ for "the last rack" :)

Serious though, sick awesome set.

I understand that TRK Rounders are a polarizing set. They are expensive fantasy chips that are replicas of the original, with completely different colors on a different mold.

So why do I care about collecting these chips? Not because of the movie, because I could search for much more authentic Rounders chips (i.e. Roman mold). Also not strictly because they are TRKs, because I can find mint TRKs for cheaper than $3+ a chip. For me, I collect these chips because, at my core, I'm a chip hobbyist and a fan of TRK. Regardless of anyone's perception of these specific chips, they are still TRKs and only about 6000 were made. To be able to say that I have amassed more than half ever produced really gives me satisfaction as a poker chip collector. I'm sure you all have sets that give you a similar feeling.

I am truly humbled by the opportunity to collect these chips and also honored to have the support from so many of you. Thank you very much for everything!

We should all strive for this type of greatness.

Just wanted to bump this to see if anyone had these chips. Always looking to add. I'll buy as many as you have :D

Thanks!
