As some may know I am planning a Black Diamond cash set. Unfortunately very often I don't play at home. This means I have to carry the chips with me. What would be the best option?

I really like the viper cases from https://www.jackspoker.com.au/jacks-casino-x-viper-case-1000-chips-bundle but it drives me crazy the only 24 chips fit into each space (24*40). I like the way I can carry the chips, much better than bird cases or other poker chip cases.

Any ideas?

Ummm.... by my math 24 x 40 = 960.

If it holds 1000 then each space would be 25, not 24. (25 x 40 = 1000)

I hate that there is no prefect case for poker chips. I have tried almost all of the solutions and each one has at least one major drawback. I like the concept of the Jacks Poker case but the odd barrel quantities :vomit: is even worse than the long barrels of a Versa case. So at the moment I am sticking to Versa cases for my cash sets. Although I think would switch to a heavy duty bird cage if I knew it was failure proof.

Take a look at the Apache 3800 from Harbor Freight. Holds a 1,000 chips in 10 racks.
I think I'm gonna pick up a couple of these after I receive my Matsui racks and I see them on sale for $30 each like they seem to do every other month.

Is there a shoulder strap option for this case? I did a quick google search and found one for Nanuk and Pelican. But not Apache. Unless I just missed it.

Versa makes a birdcage style aluminum case that travels decently. I have one and like it. An Apache style case would be more secure.

For that many chips, you either better be hitting the gym every day or get a case with wheels. Personally, I did neither and jut split into two 600-chip cases.
