With the last major purchase of a few rare RHC solid racks, my tournament re-label project enters its next phase: designing some cool tournament labels!

I was wondering if folks could share designs either that they have made themselves or have seen on casino chips that would be cool to replicate. My initial 3 ideas consist of:

1. Designing a Terrible’s tournament label (probably with the almond secondary background and then adding some “no cash value” etc language. See sample Terrible’s chip below for reference:

2. Designing an similar label to the Venetian deep stack set (see photo below):

3. Coming up with a unique design, potentially something playing with the “NY Lottery” graphic:

For reference, this is my current set but I will be adding Arc yellow and Blurple to the mix for the T1K and T500 denoms respectively:

Any thoughts / suggestions / samples would be much appreciated!

For context re: The Terrible's idea - I own a large Terrible's cash game set which will be my keeper set for years to come, so I figured it might be cool to add a tournament re-label set with the same theme. The NY Lottery concept would make it more personalized (I grew up and live in NYC) and I've always loved that graphic. The Venetian (or Borgata or where ever) label would obviously seek to mimic a current casino set with chips that are actually nicer than most casino's use a the moment (those spotted Venetian's are crazy obviously).

Some are and some aren't a big fan of the color matched inlay to the chip color but I like it. So I don't think you can go wrong with that Venetian type inlay.
Only issue that Gear will tell you is that matching arc yellow is darn near impossible.

Good Luck!

I like a color match but with a slight contrast (like the last Venetian photo is cool, not quite as matching as the earlier photo I posted)

I like new custom designs rather than copies or tributes of existing chips, but that's just my bias.
Going full custom definitely adds some more personal value and brings out some of the coolest designs I have seen so far! But it’s way more time consuming and probably more expensive than just “copying” an existing label.

Yeah, if I was doing a full custom set (CPC or milled/inlay replacement), I much prefer a new design. This however is for a tournament over-label so I would like to keep the idea of a tribute in the mix!
