The search for time chips revealed nothing. Have any of you incorporated this into your game? What do you use for a chip/time device?

I see the streams are using these and I'd like to go to a 30 second (1 minute extension) for our home game.

Thoughts on this? And where do you guys see the time chips? I have a couple of "all in" buttons that would look great as time chips, but they'd be expensive as balls to get in quantity. Looking for probably 40-80, which is enough to cover one-two tables.

I thought this would be a standard buy at one of the vendors. I guess I was wrong!
You could get ABC to make them on 43/47/49 mm round ceramic blanks. They'd be expensive relative to regular stock ceramic chips but dirt cheap compared to Paulsons.

You'd need to supply your own design. But I bet they'd be great!

You could probably get some that are similar to the ones in the Hustler Casino games pretty easily. They look like they're made from two-color engraved plastic. Go to your local sign shop and ask them if they can make something like these examples:

They'd end up looking something like the buttons you find in cheap poker sets:

... except that you could use your own design, and make them a lot more attractive, even using just two colors.

My "Time Extension" chips I made inspired by the countless hours I spent in my youth after school at the arcade playing daytona with friends. Its the same friends I playing poker with now so it was a no brainer to get this made up.

Thanks to @timinater for the assist with the design.

I like the concept but to those who use it: how do you keep and manage the time clock in a self dealt homegame. It seems like a hassle

I have yet to play in a home game where a clock was used to enforce action with a hard limit. Do people use these?
plan to use them in my next game.

only time will tell.

im hoping it will add another fun / banter element to the game.
