Finally able try and set up a game with restrictions lifted and yesterday they put some back into place but no gathering limits. So after trying every person I know to make this a 7-8 person game and nearly calling it off when there was a cancellation this morning making it only 4 people I’ve got 6 confirmed and it’s game on. Getting set up. Picked up some metal stools from Walmart for $6.88 each and gonna see how they work as a drink tray. Might need to put some plywood on top with a edge but for now we make due.

I have never hosted a cash game before so this is a test run of what is hopefully a monthly event. Time will tell. Onto a picture or two. This post is reaching @Ben8257 levels. Just kidding I love reading anything you post Ben.
Thanks @mnebesny for the chips cut card and db. @Nuhockey i believe for the dk button. @liftapint for the rounders one I think @Jeevansluck for the Cedar Ridge cut card and @grantc54 for the Hip cut card. I forget where the card setups came from but thank you members for sending these my way. One last thing I called it This Old House in reference to the Bob Vila reno show since my place was built in 1910.

One final mention is two great chipping friends who I haven’t met but will some day and without I couldn’t have acquired nearly as many chips as I have @horseshoez and @Jeevansluck you both rock. Thanks for everything.

Hosted my first tournament in probably a year with a cobbled together chip set. I know the mix will tilt some but the game was a hit. A couple of players even commented on the chips seeming like real casino chips. I briefly went all chip nerd on them and we continued to play. Lol. Ended up 9 handed and it was cozy but we made it work and everyone had a great time. Can’t wait to host again. Thanks @Potsie1 for the awesome dealer button. Also @judgeanjury @jeff123 @Pinkdan and @Organista1 (who I sold the cinncys to and bought back) for the great chips

Second game hosted was a wash. Had a great time had 9 players and could have fit 10 if we’d needed too. Didn’t place in the money but the night was awesome all the same.

About to host for the third month in a row. A little harder to get players to confirm but 6 are coming. Going to try my first t25 tourney with chips courtesy of @bsdunbar1. Trying copag cards for the first time. Dealer buttons from the latest gb from @Himewad and card capper from my favourite custom set on pcf from @Sprouty

Where did you get that table top made? That looks nice.

One last game before Christmas. Was only able to find 4 other people to play but 5 handed works great. Did $15k starting stacks tweaked the blinds from the last game and had a awesome time.

Thanks @Jeevansluck for the Flamingo db. Used it all night. Love it.

It’s been a while I think I missed posting a cash and tournament since my last post. Tonight almost didn’t happen I talked to everyone I know and they talked to some people they know and looks like it’s on :cool thanks @Gear and @Wifey for the awesome button and @Jeevansluck going to bring me some much needed luck with his Cedar Ridge cut card.

Can’t get over these chips either. Back to back games I’m using them. Absolutely love them. Thank you for making this set a reality @ruskba

Haven’t been able to host since October. Crazy. Tried the last three weeks and each game was a bust until tonight. Third time was the charm. Had 6 players and gained a 7th part way through. Two brand new players cause you always have to be growing your game. In for $160 and out for $184. Was a good game. Lots of laughs and that’s what it’s all about. Lots of comments on the chips from @Frednizer and the dealer button got lots of praise also @Josh Kifer
