I have some Joliet roulettes I might want to get more of at some point, I just don't know what color they are. After a little bit of looking I thought they are Bahama Blue but some other pictures I've seen of Bahama Blue solids were a much lighter color than these.

For reference, that is a Blue Chip Casino quarter beside them.

Could be "light blue", "ocean blue" or as you mentioned "Bahama". I'm leaning more towards basic Light Blue. Pretty sure that's the same as my Great Blue Heron .50¢'s

I think that was the picture I first used to reference the color. Monitors show varying colors, but Bahama Blue is closest on mine.

I didn't use a flash for that photo. Probably should have done one with.

The Blue Chip Casino $.25 is a slightly different color (I think it's light blue) than the roulettes. I would say the edge spots on the orange Empress $5ks beside that are closest

the reds with the soft yellow and lilac next to the chips in question.....Are those the $5's from Hammond with the Blackhawks logo on them?

Blue Chip quarters are a light blue base. Colors tend to darken with use, so new chips are best

Mmm... my crappy monitor and potentially crappy eyes tell me that Blue Chip quarters are only light blue in flat light.

Tigon: Did the roulettes come from the Chip Room? If so, have you asked Jim what colours he sold? I'm checking all my Chiproom roulettes, but I think I missed the Joliet sale. Ovo should have bought samples for colour though?

I bought them off eBay and I'm pretty sure the listing just said "blue".

They have a very slight teal tinge to them but not as much as Ocean Blue. I'm almost certain Bahama Blue is the color. All or most of them are hotstamped P.

Might be worth a PM to Jim (I'm pretty sure he sold roulettes from Joliet). And Ovo's already spotted the thread, so if he realizes he has some, he should know the colour. My search results will take a little longer as I'm juggling the contents of a couple of rooms right now, and my colour list and chips are buried somewhere.

I would need a sample sent to me to give you the right color. I do have royal blue grand vic roulette, but royal is very different from light blue.

I have found one blue roulette that may fit the bill. It's an "Empress Joliet Roulette" on the THC mold (SCV). It looks like it may fit the bill, but now I have to find the piece of paper with the colour written on it. :(

I think I have two racks of these at home. Used, but I can post a pic tonight, if it will help.

Hopefully this can clear things up. Does anyone know the color of the Empress $1k's edges?
