BCC happened to the blue chips. Typical lack of quality control produced different shades of blue. Still awesome chips however, I can easily get past it.

What happened to the blue chips?

What Mike said. There are a few different shades of blue. Its really noticeable in photo shoots. Not so much when in play at the table.

I've always loved these chips! I need to get my tourney set in play soon!

I can't wait to get my cash set into play Friday night. I think its been about 6 months since these have seen the felt.

Are those Dolphin Blue? I have a 400 hundred Dolphin Blue in my hot-stamped set and the color is consistent.
Perhaps consistent is the operative word when it comes to the downfall of BCC

no idea honestly. The blues are the only ones messed up in my set. I know the fives and 25's hadn't different shades as well.

I bought about 75% of this set from @courage . Its probably the longest I have kept a non custom set, lol.

I had my eyes on a set of these maybe 10 years ago. Just didn't have the funds, nor willing to pay the price for "nice" chips at that time, lol.

don't think I ever posted a pic of the blue solids. And with that, I'm off for a week at the fabulous Three Creek Ranch resort, spa and poker room.
see ya next week

have a blast.

love that mold btw. I had a hot stamped set with that mold for a few days :) seriously...........just a few days, lol.

Can't wait to get these into play tomorrow night. I have a 9 player game confirmed including a couple of great PCF'ers.

I won't post the game pics here. I already posted them in the Home Game thread.

As mentioned in the other thread we had a very early 4 way all in pre flop PLO hand. I got lucky to win it. I'm sure @DrStrange wouldn't approve lol. Normally I'm not this aggressive. There was a lot of money in the pot (partly due to me).

First in makes it two bucks. I raise to 7. Three callers. Original raiser makes it thirty.

It gets to me. I have 50 bucks behind me and I'm sitting on a very strong Ac/Jc/9d/3d. With this powerful hand and all the money, and potential money to be in the pot I shove. Several callers.

Flop comes three diamonds giving me a 9 high flush. It holds up to win.

Sometimes its better to be lucky than it is to be good :)

I don't remember if @ChaosRock or @mike32 were in this hand. If you guys were, poker sorry

Great game as always Bill!! Thanks for having us... Had a great time despite the fact I was 'playing hurt', LOL!!!

No, I wasn't in the hand for some weird reason but it was a really nice pot for you...

We had another 4-way AIPF PLO hand in which I decided to fold KQJT rainbow after stacks were in the middle thinking there were lots of high cards in other players hands after the action... It turned out I would be against AAxx, KKxx and AKQQ... Needless to say I would have scooped that double board PLO pot... It really hurt to fold that hand, so pretty... :-)

I was only in for 25 cents in the first big 4 way all in. Not involved in second one either. I was very quiet all night, it was an impressive run of bad starting hands. Still fun though of course, and a good lesson in discipline.
