Its been like Mutual of Omaha’s wild kingdom at Rosie’s Bayou this year. My cat spotted a rafter of wild turkeys rolling through just after dinner. 8 big ones and wifey snapped this pic of 4.
Species spotted so far this season, mule deer (hundreds), elk, weasels, bobcats, bear, red and black fox, coyotes. Others have spotted black bears, mountain lions, and moose. Plenty of raptors but never tried to ID them.
I asked for a trail camera for Xmas.

Turkeys have free reign in the suburbs of Boston. They often stop traffic, taking their damn time crossing the road. Not quite as common as squirrels, but they're getting there. The babies are cute.
Turkeys are all over the suburbs of Detroit too including my back yard on occasion. They eat out of my neighbors bird feeder. They also frequently stop traffic here too!
