You assholes got me researching baseball cards (favorite hobby from my childhood) and I need to stop before I get addicted to that and poker chips.
P.S. - Are there any packs/boxes reasonably priced actually worth opening or do you addicts only buy singles?
Here is some of the collection of my other hobby..... Bryant’s all got sold when the 13’s came out after the 14’s. That is about 1/3 of my Harper collection mostly from 2011-2013.

Mookie was really my guy. Went deep on him in 2013, had 5 or 6 gold 9.5/10s with probably 15 other color autos. I’d love to see him in ATL with Acuna!Fuck Bryce harper! Sorry, it's a natural reaction as a Braves fan, can't help it! Welcome and great collection.
Bryce harper - bringing championships back to DC since 2019.

Very cool. Good thing you don’t have a Men “The Master” Nguyen. It would likely be counterfeit.
@RainmanTrail how many cards do you have? I know nothing about the hobby and probably won't get into it, but I am curious if people collect anything and everything including bulk or just the high ticket items in small quantities

My understanding is those bomb proof screw down cases are bad for the cards. You might want to get those into the top loaders instead
you might be right. these are the ones that have a spacer in them for the card so that they free-float a bit. But they've been in there forever. And unfortunately, i handled and played with the cards too much as a kid, so none of them are worth grading. My understanding is those bomb proof screw down cases are bad for the cards. Are you still holding all these? You probably made what a quarter million off these cards in 2 years? These are the ones I've had a chance to scan so far. I have a bunch of cards that I sent off for grading though and a few in the mail. I bought almost all of these over the past 2 months lol.

I sold a lot of them over the past few months, but I still have about half of them. I predicted that the card market was going to experience a significant bump a couple years ago, so I started buying like crazy. Then covid came and accelerated that timeline. I've sold a lot of my better cards though. Definitely did well on them. Looking to trade those cards in for a cabin at Lake Tahoe now lol. I've got more to sell! Are you still holding all these? I'm also selling as much as I can. Not sure if I'll get to 7 figures of profit, but definitely well into the 6 figures. Cards I paid a few hundred dollars are selling for 5 figures now, pretty wild marketI sold a lot of them over the past few months, but I still have about half of them. Keep those unopened boxes unopened. Is it still the Becket Price guide? If @RainmanTrail is saying he sold his for crazy sum of money I might have to consider selling. I know I have unopened boxes of Topps Stadium Club cards from the first year they were made. Numerous other unopened boxes and factory sealed sets from the mid to late 80’s through early 90’s primarily baseball but also hockey.
I was a little disappointed when I did search. Oh well the dream was nice even for a brief minute.Keep those unopened boxes unopened.
Wait time depends cards value. You pay more to grade higher value cards. Under $200 and it's a year. Under $1k and it's like 3-4 months. Under 2500 and it's a few weeks. Under 5k and it's a week. More than that and it's only a day to grade though transport time is moreI just started watching a YouTube channel about collecting within the past few weeks. Real interesting how that market skyrocketed this past year.
Y’all are big time throwing out these numbers
I think my best card is a Topps triple thread auto 2/3 Reggie Jackson (my favorite player) or Albert Pujols TT Chrome if I got it graded. But apparently wait times to a grade service is close to a year
