Some stellar choices made there, kudos on the semi-customs. (y) All 43mm?
Thanks, I'm super happy with them! Yeah, all 43mm thanks to you (and others) hyping them up. Very glad I went that route.

Next is the set that started the madness of chip collecting for both of us, the Oceanside Card Club (or Casino)

Bro won a Full Tilt tourney to enter the WPT in Aruba, we stayed at the Wyndam where the Casablanca Casio was in the lobby, so had to have these.

the white $1s are relabled Casablanca $2s (someone else labeled) and the yellow $1s are the Casino de Mexico $1 I labeled.

That is all the splashed pr0n, here is my bird-caged chips that I moved to the new house, does not show the ones in boxes and nicer chip boxes

Those oceanside chips are so sick!

I hope you're brother isn't the guy who beat me out of my Aruba seat HU with my KK vs his 99 all in pre flop :( lol

This was a fun GB to run. We ended up with about 10 great chippers finally agreeing on the name and colors for a great tourney set. I still send kudos to the group of chippers that helped this process along. We did end up with some color variations as long as the minimums were met. Your set is one of those "One of a kid" sets because if I am not mistaken there was only one large set made with the Bright with T5000 chip. All in all the total order that arrived to my home was over 11,000 chips. Fun and successful GB!!!

Is it just me, or is it difficult to look at photos like these and not get a little misty-eyed?

Definitely.

Every time I think about the set I'm keenly aware of the void Sal left. I also regret not adding on more and not ordering a set of the fantastic Tangier/Havana.

I am trying my best to bring back the love for these! Not that it’s gone, but haven’t had much recent pRon. Don’t worry, I’ll be changing that :D. I read every page of the group buy and really have liked these chips from the start of my time here. @MD Mike sent me a half barrel sample of the 25ks and they were on my radar ever since. I really appreciate all the work that went into that group buy, and am happy to be reaping the rewards of that effort! Thanks again @krafticus @David O @justsomedude and @MD Mike and everyone else involved!
