I always like when my mail pr00n ends up at the top of a page. The bottom two chips are new this week in the mail. I had the $5. These chips are SO good. FWIW, my favorite two Poles of all time are Bob Stupak and Ron Jaworski. Into the Rat Rod set they go!

Now why do so many of the $25s have that translucent inlay issue? I doesn't seem to be oil under the inlay but its also not present on the less worn chips. Likely just a wear issue but I'm not sure I've seen it on other chips.

Got my Omnia auction haul last night. Overall, I’m very happy with my lots.

There are a ton of chips from various Colorado casinos that I didn’t even know existed.

It looks like Central Station never met a holiday they didn’t want to commentate.

Winner of the most unnecessarily pervy chip award goes to Lou Bunch Day (what even is happening on this one?)

My favorite feeling chips have to be the Palace hotel and casino $1. They feel closer to sand paper than to ceramic.

I’ve learned that I’m a sucker for odd denominations. The $2.50 hold a special place in my heart.

Of course, they aren’t all winners. Some are so faded it’s hard to tell what they are.

But by far the crown jewel of my package has to be the Crystal Palace Chinese Zodiac chips. These, I believe, are Paulson THC chips with unique inlays and what appears to be a “hot stamp” of sorts overlaying the inlay. They look great and feel amazing.

I think that's a cancellation hotstamp (starburst) which has had the foil removed so that only the impression remains.

HUGE shout out to @upNdown for even considering giving me a shot at picking up the torch on this set and keeping it local. Big thank you to @DMack for passing on a portion of FROR and for helping to round out some racks.

I've added a handful of singles and a rack of $25 to beef this set up and will be creating another long term wanted ad to continue adding.

Timing is fitting as I'm headed to Foxwoods for the weekend tonight! Fantastic set, better members - thank you!

Me either. But I found some chips I liked playing with more than the Foxwoods. And I’m really more of a player than a collector, so off they go. But I didn’t want them going to the other side of the world or to be sealed away forever in somebody’s vault, so I’m grateful to @jpietrella for taking the baton.

And here’s what happens when you sell sets quietly. At my game 2 weeks ago, @raynmanas was the first guy to show up and he says “I have something for you” and he handed me THREE Foxwoods $5s. That’s like two months worth of searching right there, so im seriously grateful for the gesture, even though I can’t use then any more. And as fate would have it, @jpietrella was playing that night too, so when he showed up 10 minutes later, we had the quickest pay it forward ever.
