I just heard that Jerry at Jetacer Interactive has started work on the Key West virtual roulette table.

When completed, the game will launch on the Key West website and be free to play, without memberships, fees or advertising. Players will bet using free virtual versions of our real Key West roulette chips.

Plans are in their early stages right now. We're looking at a possible setup that would allow multiple players, each using a different color roulette chip on your computer screen or linked to a big-screen TV. (This would allow you to host a roulette party for up to six players.) Remote, interactive play over the internet is not in the works for now, but we'd like to eventually move to it with all of our online games.

Game development will take a few weeks, with a likely launch in May.

The Key West roulette table will be the third custom casino game constructed by Jetacer exclusively for the Key West Resort & Casino. The company created a Key West virtual slot machine, which launched on the Key West site in November, 2013. It was followed in December, 2013 by the Key West virtual blackjack table, using virtual images of Key West playing cards and denominated gaming chips. The blackjack layout turned out so well, we'll be making some real layouts based on the design and color scheme later this year.

All of our virtual casino games are designed to simulate play in a real casino, but are played for free points only. There is no actual wagering on the Key West site. We don't link to any online casinos or pay sites, and provide our "Key West" versions of casino games for your entertainment.

The games can be found in the pull-down under "Free Casino Games" at:

www.keywestresortcasino.com/

And for poker, The Key West recommends you join the fun at the Poker Chip Forum's poker room.

Testing of the Key West's new virtual roulette table is now complete, and we're nearing a launch date. The game is set to go "live" on Thursday night at 9 p.m. Eastern.

Like our other virtual casino games, our roulette table is free to play, with no sign-up and no real wagering. You play for free points. You can select the number of players, from 1 to 6, just in case you want to put a roulette table on the big screen at your next home game.

Look for it on the Key West Resort & Casino website under "Free casino games" on your way "home" from The Poker Chip Forum.

Pokerpig: Glad you like the roulette table. The vision for this game was to put it up on the big flat screen tv during poker night, and control it with a wireless mouse. But it works just fine on your laptop, too.

I put $1000 on red and won, but it only gave me 1000, not the 2000 it should have.
Oddly, it works fine when you bet on black, but isn't paying the right amount when you bet on red. I sent a bug report to Jerry at Jetacer. Hopefully this will be fixed shortly. Thank you for pointing this out. It's a new problem.

I always hit playing black 28 and 29. The last one was with a $50 split at Harrahs.

FYI, the problem was fixed by evening on 11-16-14. If you are still seeing the issue on the version you're playing, simply clear your cache and go back to the KW free roulette page. It will load the updated SWF version now displayed on the site, which works perfectly.

Sorry for the issue.
