I am lucky. My turnaround for these chips may have been the fastest ever. Yes, I'm a dick. A very happy dick.

The purchase of a new house drove me to where I am today. We were thrilled to be able to purchase a almost totally original mid-century modern house built in 1957. This house happens to have a garage/shop which started the poker room juices flowing.

Blah, blah, blah I wanted some chips that would reflect the vibe but also not have too much on the label as I figured a real underground private cardroom wouldn't advertise when in started or where it was at. So my last name starts with an H but it's pretty wide open in case some day I need an emergency chip transplant and have to sell them.

Also they are non denominal. I needed these chips to be versatile for tourny and cash. AKA, I can't afford a set for both.

Initially i was going to stick with the old style traditional colors and have each design influenced by actual chips of the era but I found I couldn't get away from those DG colors.

Also, you won't find any colors used twice. i was actually going more for contrast than flowing. I wanted the 814 chip to be seen from a mile away. My thoughts are green = 25, brown = 100 , blue = 500, orange = 1000 and butterscotch/DG green = 5000. And once the greens have been chipped up I will use them for 25k as they were the only chip that influenced by a real chip. (25k WSOP). Love to here your thoughts. Enjoy!

I love them.
Truthfully, I think spending three bucks a whack on custom chips and not getting them denominated is insane. But they sure are pretty.

And that's why I love all the different opinions!! Thanks for kind words. I just can't imagine spending $3 a whack and barely get to use the $20 chips or the 5k chips etc....

Makes sense. I am sure lots of guys spend the most dollars per chip on their hundos but they might never see the felt!

Nice!

Nothing against the HHR (which I own about 10,000 of) but no consideration for the H mold here?
Absolutely considered the H mold. And the B mold. However I had a very short window to strike and when I found out the HHR were the current mold I couldn't resist the idea of getting my chips in a matter of weeks rather than months. Also, I'm not a mold snob either. I would have no problem getting a bunch of solids On a different mold some day and using them together. And thank you.

This one is (as my 14 year old daughter would say) spicy.

I'm assuming that's good. I have a 13 year old son and I don't understand half the shit that comes out of his mouth. I will try and take better pics also. These pics don't do these chips justice. The colors pop way more than I expected. The Orange/DG tiger spots are "savage".... As my son would say...

Just wait until one of 'em suggests they bring their dice chips next time.

However, for the rest of us, they're absolutely gorgeous chips.
Ya, I should have sprung for the "official casino weight" chips....

And thanks!

Nice work man! Cool color combos and great idea about the dual purpose. Congrats!

Really love all the chips, but my favorites are the chocolate and the orange. Great inlay design and it should fit well with the house.

I do love those chocolates as well, but they look a bit thirsty. Plan on oiling any of them, or just going el natural?

Probably el natural. I've never been a fan of oiling. Yes they look better but it doesn't take that long with natural hand oil to get the same effect. It will just be another incentive to have more home games.
