I figured since we already have a thread for watches on here, why not guitars! I’ve played guitar on and off for most of my life. I’ve taken many long breaks unfortunately but I got back into playing a bit more during Covid. My son also picked it up and he’s been taking lessons. I play mostly acoustic guitar these days, my son plays mostly electric. I’ve dabbled with various guitar brands and somehow I always come back to Martin. I’ll post a pic of my favorite Martin and I’ll follow up with more.

I invite all my fellow guitar players and collectors to share their guitar related content here!

One thing I've regreted not doing over the pandemic when I was staying in a lot more was picking up my bass more and trying to learn it better.

Ha just posted this in another thread. Lots of guitars all beyond my abilities. I picked up a couple of guitars at local Goodwill earlier this year and GC paid me 2.5x what I paid...so with my fuzzy poker math, this beautiful epiphone Les Paul Standard 60's was basically free. It's Gibson big brother is 11x and I couldn't feel or hear any difference...FTW!

Just bought my first tele! Sounds amazing. I say first tele because I will buy a hollowbody tele within the next 2 years

Just finished putting this together.

It is a Bad Cat Instruments DIY electric modeled after an Ibanez 7V. The kit came with all silver hardware so some upgrades had to be made. Locking nut, machine heads, Floyd Rose tremolo and strap buttons. Fairly impressed with the build. The pickups are meh...super crisp and too high ranged. They'll be replaced very soon.
