Designed another set just now, any thoughts or critiques? The crown image inlay is just a stand-in for now until I get a real design. The values are 1, 5, 25, 100, 500, and 1000.

Lot of similar colours. I'd be worried about dirty stacks

If that’s what you like, run with it. The 1 doesn’t fit with the other spot progression, nor does the 5 for honesty sake. It’s a lot of purple and orange. While CPC doesn’t have the Paulson spectrum, you can use so may more colors . If you want similar colors throughout, try to get some base color separation.

I’m pretty new to chipping, especially customs, so I kind of just made chips I liked and put them in no particular order.

Take this with a grain of salt.

Immediate thoughts - 1 is too busy compared to the entire lineup. 1, 100, 500 having purples is a lot. And 5, 25, 1000 all have orange. Maybe Orange and Purple are your two favorite colors, but it can cause an underwhelming tone. And potentially some dirty stack issues. Is this a cash or tournament set? Hard to see using 1 and 1000 in the same game.

I was planning on making this a tourney set, and I also wasn’t really set on any denominations yet. Thanks for the advice and I’m probably going to redo the colors soon and come back with some more designs.

I was also thinking of a cheaper option for the 1, but which chip do you guys prefer, A or B

Made a few more changes and added 0.25 and 5000 just in case I need them.
