THC Help With Any Info on Dates/Value (1 Viewer)

Hey PCF!

Just picked up this 500 Chip Paulson set with Caddy. The Gentleman that owned these said he ordered these custom back sometime in the 80's and that he only used them twice since then. These chips are super sharp. Given that this font is different from the 'Old English' type font I'm used to seeing on these older Paulsons, any help on any history of this set would be appreciated!

Also, anyone have any info on the caddy? Like I said, Gentleman mentioned that he did get this custom built from Paulson.

Paulson wouldn't let you use solids in all their colors, but they would hot stamp you a set of THC solids. You got denominations on one side and lettering/initials on the other. These sets are pretty common, and they made them all through the 1980s and 1990s. Finding one is pretty cool.

In the 1980s, he would have paid I dunno maybe 60 cents a chip.
